  • This year we spent the Christmas season in New Orleans! New Orleans loves to celebrate and Christmas is no different. We took a break from traveling to enjoy all the local festivities. Join us as we go to the Krewe of Jingle Christmas Parade, see the fantastic illuminations at Luna Fete, spend a night caroling in the French Quarter at Jackson Square in front of the St. Louis Cathedral, enjoy a night of Christmas spirit in City Park's Celebration in the Oaks, and marvel at the Cajun tradition of lighting bonfires along the Mississippi River to guide Santa into town! Christmas is one of our favorite seasons in NOLA and I hope you enjoy experiencing it with us!

We LOVED New Orleans! We also went at the hottest time of the year apparently but we still had a great time. Can't wait to go back for Christmas someday!

How long of a car ride to the bonfires?

It's about a 45 minute drive from New Orleans to the bonfires. But traffic and parking can be rough near the bonfires so try to get there early.
