wouldnt the conning tower wood have been painted with a wood preserver so would be grey ???? but it does look great a nice contrast

Which I saw this before I built my 1/72 sub .thiswhat a treat to no end to see the weathering...makes me want to purchase another one 😀😀😀
Oh you mean that 1/72 revell kit? I had it. It’s to aweful and I also couldn’t make any use of it. But the border model I’m building here is currently quite cheap, so go for it. Happy building :)

Vielen lieben Dank. Joa, ganz fertig ist das Teil natürlich noch nicht. Der grössere Korpus, oder besser gesagt, Teile des Oberdecks liegen aktuell auf meinem Arbeitstisch. Was für ein Brocken das ist 😅 Weiss gar nicht mehr ob ich das im Video erwähnt habe, aber ein diorama gibts auch noch dazu.
Musst du anbauen was 😬😬😬 ich habe den Bausatz auch noch hier liegen aber wenn ich diene Arbeit sehe glaube ich ich verkaufe ihn wieder 😁😁😁
Wirklich deine Arbeit ist von aller feinsten meine allergrößten Respekt vielleicht sollte ich lieber mit der Yamato in 1:200 Anfangen haha haha 🫣🫣

The one from Revell? I unfortunately don’t have the space for that (the 1/35 is just the upper deck part). Yes, I’ll add a water base, in a self build 3d frame, with clouds and thunder effects. At least that’s the plan for now…

Ah okay, that one! That’s really nice, the tower is much more detailed then the one from border model (but it’s unfortunately only the tower). Happy building :)
May I ask why the Red Life-Boy ring is attached ? If it dives you lose it ??

One huge mistake:there is no horseshoe buoy on the conning tower,it would float on the surface when the submarine dives
