Obviously...Sarah Jessica Parker let her FAME go a little to much to her head!! I think SJP's problem with Kim is, that Kim, is an EXTREMELY strong woman who is NOT afraid to speak her mind on what she thinks is fair/right or not...and she DEFINITELY wasnt going to kiss SJP's ass, and didnt fear her, or wouldnt follow her around like the other 2 actresses did as if they were her puppets and are below her!! So, Im glad that Kim is finally bk and realizes that this is her career, shes there to work, NOT make friends or KISS another actresses' ass!! 😊

I no right! I no I watched it for Samantha. I always loved Samantha’s scenes, and the courage it takes to do the scenes she did, all the nudity and sex scenes. I wouldn’t be able to do it, but she handled the scenes like a pro and tbh if I had a body like Kim’s id probably walk round naked lol. X
Nah everyone loved Carrie when the show was airing but as decades passed and woke culture happened, people started to find Carrie “toxic” and hate on her
That's absurd. Carrie was the star of the show. But it was a bit like Friends where maybe one cast member is more popular or crucial they should have been paid more equitably because there is not show if 2 or 3 of them choose to walk away. $3M vs $300k is absurd. Maybe $3M and $1M for each of the cast. Samantha maybe $2M because she was the second most important cast member.
I don’t understand why Carrie was the lead. I think that Samantha and Charlotte were kind of the show for me.

Look, I think you should be paid by your talent and what you bring to the table. Kim Cattrail wasn’t afraid to bare it all on the show. She should have been paid fairly for doing those types of scenes.
On the contrary, Sarah Jessica Parker refused to show any skin, and she refused to do any intimate scenes (not nude scenes, love scenes)… yet she’s the highest paid on the show? Make it make sense!

Yes, that show was more of an ensemble cast, no one was the "star" by herself.
This is old news, but i never heard the actual numbers. $3m vs $350k per episode is absolutely absurd. After the first season they were ALL insanely popular and all made the show. Their salaries should have reflected that, even if they didn't start that way. SATC did not exist without Samantha, who was easily the fan favorite. Carrie Bradshaw is a classic narcissist who fans despise, so King's comments prove how completely out of touch with the fanbase he was/is. SATC should have been like 'Friends,' ...each cast member being part of an ensemble and getting paid the same amount...and "stars" could check their egos at the door so fans could enjoy the saga continuing indefinitely. The new show, AJLT is a disaster, mostly because it doesn't have Samantha. The new characters and racy comments they try to throw in Samantha's place just don't fill her shoes. It must have been a pretty shit working environment for Cattrall to give up another $20million dollars. Yikes.

And yes I believe Kim. Probably Sarah Jessica felt resentful how big Kim's character Samantha was tarnishing hers.

Carrie is my least favourite character. They should be paid equal by s6. I’m on Kim’s side. Samantha is also the oldest woman among them, her story in and just like that would be so interesting and relevant. I would like to see satc or ajlt written around Samantha instead of Carrie. She is so boring.
I couldn't stand SJP's shriek which they threw into several scenes (apparently, somebody liked it) and I thought all of the characters were shallow; however, that was really the point. I did enjoy SATC and was shocked by a lot of it. I lived in NYC in the 70's and my friends and I went to SNL, good restaurants, Broadway plays and musicals, etc. We were interested in fashion, shoes, and men just as the girls in SATC were. We, however, didn't have men in and out of our lives all the time. I've always liked Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick. I like the fact that they have performed in the theatre and I like the fact that they seem to love NYC. They're both very talented.

I don’t think I’ve seen any real proof of SJP being shady. It’s all he said she said… I can say I’ve seen plenty of examples of Kim being rude tho. It’s almost like a one sided feud at this point. I wouldn’t blame Sarah for clapping back after years of nasty comments made about her by Kim, but I feel like Kim is trying to prod a reaction out of her, so then she can play the victim further.
She was paid 3 times more than the rest of them in a show that was actually an ensemble cast, not one with a "star."And as executive producer, she managed to give her own character a lot of screen time at the expense of the others.

SJP was in almost every scene of SATC and was a producer of the show. KC was not. SJP never did or said anything mean to any of her costars. KC is the problem because she was greedy unlike the other side characters who understood. They were ALL still paid very well. KC wasn’t the main character or producer. She worked a lot less than SJP on the show.
how do you know for a fact that sarah jessica parker never said or did something to rub kim cattrall the wrong way?
One big reason: she controlled the development of all the other characters; and THAT is how she gave herself "almost every scene."

@@truthbetold6011 Cattrall has accused Parker publicly without giving any examples of bad behavior. Every other cast member supports Parker / she doesn’t have any other enemies. It’s easy to see Cattrall was just mad about Parker being the star / earning more. Cattrall has also said she didn’t like the direction of Samantha but that wasn’t Parker’s fault either because she wasn’t the creator or writer / was just one of its many producers. HBO and studio executives were the ones dictating the salaries anyways, not Parker. I think the hate she gets from Cattrall’s fans is totally unwarranted and I won’t be quiet just because some rando with no argument tells me to.
