@@dynamis1720 Sanemis neglection of his brother made genya stay within the corps, if he told him truth during hashira training about him loving genya and him wanting genya gone from the corps so he survives would make genya leave voluntarily, especially since he does what sanemi says so
@@alex-511 That wouldnt stop genya at all. He would stay in the corps by his brother's side. Just like Kanae wanted Shinobu to leave the corps but Shinobu insisted to stay.

A better explainatio Tanjiro could give is "She hasn't eaten anyone, she doesn't get power from eating people but from sleeping" or something like that instead of "oh she's my sister though"
90% of the time he keeps yelling like a crybaby instead of giving some persuasive argument when he talk to human. On the other hand he always try to argue with demon for some reason. His brain is simply built different lol
I mean, let's keep in mind he woke up in an unknown place with people who have the authority to decide whether him and his sister get to live, after having been through a mentally and physically exhausting experience.
"Never eaten human flesh and only slept" is a one-sided argument and sounds very absurd given the fact that there is no such thing as a demon like Nezuko. Without evidence or witnesses, making that argument only makes the listener more hateful. So instead of giving an "unconvincing" reason and expecting people to believe him, Tanjiro fights to protect his sister, just as Tomioka had taught him.
@@JuliettKilo That won't work with humans though especially demon slayers. No matter what he try to say in that moment they won't show any mercy if they saw a demon. He is a innocent and polite character for us viewers. Inside the story he is just a regular dude.
Rui has the same voice actor of Toge Inumaki from Jujutsu Kaisen
