    The heater is a very convenient little device for smaller rooms so you don't have to heat the whole house if it's just you. Especially the link with thermo-hygrometer for the thermostat mode.

      If only they would have the RGB light on this model as well..

  • @misplacedmoralsclothingcom1509

    I am a big fan of the RGB light on the other model. To bad they don't have that on both.

    • @threadchemistry

      I think that model (H7131) is a newer model. They also added the RGB to their newer Smart Air Purifier as well..

    6:22 Actually you don't need the extra external thermometer to use the thermostat mode as the heater itself also has a internal thermostat built in, I only have the smart heater and thermostat mode all works perfectly can also set schedual and every other function.
    So love Govee products.

      Being wheelchair bound and live alone I also love Govee products as home automation make my life so much easier.
      Obviously I'm on a very tight budget but my Govee collection is slowly getting bigger. Best wishes from UK.👍

    Ryan, when the heater is oscillating, it looks very fragile, shaky and unstable due to…perhaps a not so solid construction of base?

    • @threadchemistry
      @threadchemistry  Місяць тому +1

      That is actually the tilt sensor. It's made that way so if it does tip too far it will automatically shut off so nothing catches on fire..

    perfect thank you for responding….not all portable heaters have timers….in fact I’ve never owned one with a timer dr. Heaters …edenpure none of them have timers ……the ONLY reason why I’m interested in this heater is it doesn’t have buttons to adjust the temperature….it’s for my teenage daughters room ( her room is about five degrees colder then the rest of the house) so I put a edenpure in her room JUST to bump it up that 5 degrees…..BUT I CONSTANTLY GO IN HER ROOM AND ITS MAXED OUT😡😡😡 she keeps jacking the heat up and I can’t stop her from messing with it ….driving me nuts….do you think this heater will work in my scenario?

    • @threadchemistry
      @threadchemistry  9 місяців тому

      I I think it would be perfect. You/she will have access to the Govee app correct? That and through voice command with Google/ Alexa/ smartthings is the only way to control it (besides the 3 buttons on it you don't like). Keep in mind it does NOT come with a remote. They don't make one at all. So if you/she can easily access the app and/or voice commands I think it would be a great idea for that. If you want to dig a little deeper they also just released 3 new space heaters. You could Google them or they all are in Amazon also and I think you could even still get some holiday discounts on them if you hurry.. if you decide to go that route. Hope this helps!

      @threadchemistry  9 місяців тому

      @DavidSmith-tn9rm no you can leave it on. I believe it has a 24 hour safety shut off, but you could either run a routine to turn it back on everyday or just turn it on from the app or device..

      @@threadchemistry damn. Same on my 7131 on Alexa app too.
      Interestingly enough I can tell it what temperature I want it to be set to in the Google Assistant by saying "hey Google set (name you set heater to) to 75 degrees, & sure enough it does it.

      @threadchemistry  9 місяців тому

    • @threadchemistry
      @threadchemistry  11 місяців тому

      Ha, thank you! Actually I have had this question before and found out you cannot have 2 on the same Hygrometer. However, the Hygrometer is only about $9 dollars and you can even buy a 2 pack! So if you got the 2 space heaters and then also a 2 pack of the Hygrometers you could link 1 to 1 and 2 to 2 and it would only cost you about $9 extra in the long run. Hope this helps!

      Oh, interesting. Thanks for letting us know.
      Careful though, if you have them too far apart or too far from the thermostat they're going to pump out depending on what the temp is at the thermo-hygrometer.
      But good to know. That must have been in a recent update.

    Hi mate I have this product and all my low, medium and high settings see the same.... Is this fan speed? If so on yours is there a noticeable difference in speeds?
    I hope I'm being daft if not my speed 1, 2 and 3 are literally all the same

    • @threadchemistry
      @threadchemistry  9 місяців тому

      Hey man! The fan modes don't get too much louder rising one by one but there is definitely a noticeable difference. The only thing I would guess is that you received a faulty unit. I would reach out to Govee's warranty team or exchange it if you just bought it.

    • @threadchemistry
      @threadchemistry  9 місяців тому

      Or if you want to test yourself find a temperature gauge and place in front off the unit on each speed and see if it increases in temp speed by speed. Just a suggestion. Sorry I don't have a definitive answer for you man!

      It will always shut off after the set amount of hours. Any portable heater will do that as a safety precaution. That being said you only need to have your phone and the app and you can control it as much as you'd like so you could just turn it on every morning. Or you could set a schedule with it to run from midnight to 11:59pm every day that would only cause 1 minute of loss so yes all of them will do that but Govee makes it more convenient to control over the others.

    I am not a fan 🤬 of so called reviews videos that basically tell you what the product is and not what it can do. This video is the complete opposite.
    I had other Govee heater videos lined up to watch but this one tells me everything. Sorry 😢 other content creators, you don't get my watch time.
    This video is comprehensive and concise in its content. No filler to bump up watch time. Every function I would look at on this product you presented in detail and long enough to get what it does. I feel I don't need to read the manual. You have saved me a trip to a store.
    I will see if I can find a great deal for one in the UK.
