With every video I learn something interesting about our culture and heritage. Thank you for educating us. These unique handicrafts are in big demand here in nyc but the obly problem is that there is no marketing campaign to promote this in Pakistan. Alas
I know. Sadly, the government makes no effort, absolutely no effort to promote any kind of local handicraft abroad. Neighbouring India, on the other hand, does so with great success.

No the Masonic Lodge/Freemasons Hall is lower down on the Mall in Lahore , close to Charing Cross , according to Peter Hopkirk in his book . This building is the Ajaeb Ghar/Museum of Lahore, building completed in 1894. John Lockwood Kipling was Curator at the earlier building (Tollinton Market now) around 1890-92 .

The building is Tollinton Market. Also, I think there is a image of the museum. Jadoo Ghar or the Masonic Lodge is in Charing Cross. Across The Mall from Wapda House and also across Queens Road from Shah Din Manzil. It is on the left as you come past the entrance gateway of the zoo.

John Lockwood Kipling , one time principal of the Mayo School of Arts and first Curator of the Lahore Museum. A fine artist himself, have you seen some of his native sketches ? I remember reading that he was commissioned to make some for various books and reports. He was later also commissioned by Queen Victoria to design the "Indian rooms" at Osborne House, a royal residence on the Isle of Wight. (From what I recollect of the novel Kim , by Rudyard Kipling, the young lad had an Irish father and probably Desi or Anglo-Indian mother . His full name was 'Kimball O'Hara')
