    An awesome, though way to short clip. Truly a reminder of how things go from a little smokey, to pitch dark "I cant see a thing."

    Were there even alarms in the building to warn them of the fire?

      @@Mrbowling300.0 i think it was an electrical fire, so while shutting off the power they most likely shut off alarms too

    I never get why guys hate buckling their waste straps.
    1. Something that can get hung up on something
    2. Waist straps are designed to put all the weight on your waist and not on your shoulders.

    • @andyoxleyonhistravels
      @andyoxleyonhistravels 19 днів тому +1

      The idea is to do your waste straps up. It helps the distribution of weight and if you shoulder straps gets snagged it stops the set being pulled off your back.

      @andyoxleyonhistravels I was always told by our scott rep many years ago that tighten waist straps and then shoulder straps. Shoulder straps should be snug but not tight

    I know what some of you are thinking, why not just pour water on it before it gets out of control instead of call Fire Department?
    Well, if it's an electrical fire inside the walls, that isn't really a great idea. 50% chance it gets even worse if you tried that.

  • @Squad61

    Probabely electrical was told before entering , and still all the power is on? Close the doors, stop the smoke spreading! Mask up before going down to the basement! Get that civilan out of he basement!
    Just what I was teached as a captain in the Fire service

      This man is correct. I am a fire officer currently serving in one of the top ten populated cities in America (2+ million people) with 23 years in service. That civilian had no business being down there while they were donning their SCBA with an IDLH (Immediate Death Life Hazard) environment. The entire building should have been evacuated, and all utilities cut. Do not question him on his English since he is from the Netherlands.
