Woozi is a huge anime fan! If u didn't know he did a live for six straight hours talking about anime into the morning. A few more things I found out from a couple of other sources: when they say the "this is a cartoon's ending song" their formation is the flipping of pages like reading manga, when they do the ripple effect at the very end they're actually portraying how the Monkey King apparently has the cloning ability so they're making clones (look at the dancers in the black when they do the ripple, they multiply!!!), when woozi says "PING" it's apparently an ode to that anime live I mentioned where he talks about the cliche "ping!" you hear when an anime character takes off their glasses that supposedly became a meme on twitter & he decided to incorporate it into the song, and LASTLY when the lyrics say "energy, one massive shot, aim your cries to the sky" that's supposedly one of Goku's fiinal moves when he gathers everyones energy into one massive shot (woozi throws it up into the air at the end of his verse). I'm saying supposedly and apparently a lot because I don't know much about Journey to the West or Dragonball so these are other people's comparisons! I feel like there's so many hidden details in the lyrics and choreography that hasn't been picked up yet too, so there's actually quite a bit of layers! This song really is amazing
Also, I have read that people noticed something else. When Dino sings the first verse he says Sonogong in Korean, but then when Minghao sings it, he says it in Chinese, a reminder of where the story ACTUALLY comes from. And that is just so cool.

The way the choreo feels like a whole Anime arc... The first chorus feels like that training scene in a Dojo. S.Coups gives the cocky vibes after winning a few fights and going against the boss for the first time. During Hoshi's pre-chorus at 1:54, if you watch the backup dancers, it's a fight scene. The8 absorbing the energy (it's like he catches it if you watch the light in the back). Jun feels like round two with the boss, getting his butt kicked at first before gathering his energy. If you watch the backup dancers at 2:46, it's like Jun punches the ground and sends shock waves. And then... Woozi's whole ending is about one final massive attack, feels a lot like he's talking about using Spirit Bomb, given the DBZ theme. Haha! And I was waiting for your guys' reaction because I knew it would be on par with what mine was. I love the way they portray stories. It feels very cinematic.

Pretty sure other people may have said this already but... Right before it transitions to Minghao's freaking hero entrance, we see the gold streak in the sky. Well, if I remember correctly, when you gather all the dragon balls in Dragon Ball Z, you're able to make one wish. Once that wish is complete, the dragon balls scatter again to different corners of the planet to be found. I think that the streak in the sky represents their wish coming true of getting big and still working so hard for their dream to stay a reality that the dragon ball has scattered for them to find again to make another wish come true

I think they're combining Dragon Ball with Journey to the West, because in the ending about 3:15 you can see there are this vibrating body motion and then the dancers just appear behind them to make it seems like they're multiplying. Right before it transitions to Minghao's freaking hero entrance, we see the gold streak in the sky. Well, if I remember correctly, when you gather all the dragon balls in Dragon Ball Z, you're able to make one wish. Once that wish is complete, the dragon balls scatter again to different corners of the planet to be found.
I think that the streak in the sky represents their wish coming true of getting big and still working so hard for their dream to stay a reality that the dragon ball has scattered for them to find again to make another wish come true

I think they're combining Dragon Ball with Journey to the West, because in the ending about 3:15 you can see there are this vibrating body motion and then the dancers just appear behind them to make it seems like they're multiplying.
