All these haters probably have never ridden this attraction. This is one of the best Disney rides created honestly. It is much better in person, you can smell the kitchen and feel the heat and sprays on the ride. While it may not seem like it, the cars actually move and vibrate during the ride. Simply underrated!

MrRE3Nemesis first ride I'm going to in magic hours! This ride is only for France or maybe France in Epcot... bet they will put it in soon lol
The design surrounding the queue is quite beautiful, like strolling over the rooftops of Paris at night, with the occasional pop-up appearance by Remy or Gusteau. Nice little touch - once the ride is done, as you step aside you enter Bistrot Chez Rémy - a real functioning restaurant (so if the smells from the ride have sparked your appetite, you're sorted.) It's an incredibly immersive experience from start to finish. Also kinda reminiscent of the old Honey I Shrunk the Audience ride, the 3D really pops and the fluidity of the ride is seamless.

Personally, I think it looks as if he is pointing and then waving at the character in front of his daughter. It's a typical parental move when showing a child something seemingly amazing, especially when attempting to convince the child that it is real. You'll see it a lot when kids are meeting fictional characters in the Disney parks.
Pretty cool looking ride. I like how in some parts the cars go on a different path. Can't wait to see it in Epcot down the road.

I feel they should mention it’s 3D and requires you to wear glasses to ride it...the ride without that aspect would seem boring otherwise.

This was my Dad's favorite ride when we went to Disneyland Paris!!! He's so excited that Disney is building the ride in our home park Walt Disney World!!

My and my family rode this ride no joke 6 times in one day at this park when your actually riding it it’s SO GOOD

We rode 2 times one with normal line (which was 60min) and another with fastpass
kittymusicgirl we have a special pass (for anyone with a illness considered a disability one of my family members has diabetes) x so we waited in fast pass line each time

Alright, I now know the meaning of my life, my one and only purpose in life is to go to Disney in Paris
I am very late but also here watching the video once again, and let me tell you, it is so worth it! Disney Paris is so beautiful and amazing!!! It would even be worth it just for this one ride!

Just rode this ride with super high expectations and they exceeded them Disney really did their best work. The video doesn’t do it justice on how immersive it is.
Oof. Not a single animatronic. Just a ride vehicle transporting you from screen to screen with half-assed static props in between.
Of course, the all experience is in 4D with smells features ^^
Although not an excellent ride, it’s really good. Animatronics wouldn’t really work here

This isn't like a Peter Pan dark ride, animatronics would ruin the whole 3D experience. It's easily the best ride in the Walt Disney studios. There is much more than a " vehicle transporting you from screen to screen". You can't really see anything other than the screens (it's much better in person than in the video). You can smell real food ( ratatouille) , you can feel the heat when you are under the oven, you are getting wet and you are pushed back when they open the champagne, you feel like you are falling down in a few parts (in the beginning and when you are in the kitchen), you are feeling like you are being chase when you run with the rats etc. Much more than what a few animatronic could offer. The queue alone is stunning. Once you experience it you will change your mind.
I can’t wait for Disney World at Epcot to have this!

Disneyland Paris if full with dark animatronics rides. They would ruin the 3D experience in this case.
Such an amazing ride - just a tip, if you don’t want extreme waiting times go in single rides. It almost always has a 15 minute waiting time or less.

I love the low ceiling affect idk why
My own personal criticism about this ride is that with the glasses on you can’t appreciate the details of the set as much. It’s just my personal opinion though so please don’t come at me, because it really is a beautifully made attraction. My advise would be to ride the first time with the glasses on and watching the screens and another time where you allow yourself to take them off every now and then to look around. But this could also be because I have horrendous eyesight 😂
This ride is actually one of the most immersive rides I have ever been on, like my heart legitimately started racing when we were being “chased” because it does make you feel like the size of a rat.
I still don't know whether they are talking in french or English 🤣🤣

I never got sick in attractions, but this one almost made me puke my guts out after just 1 minute. Cool attraction, but NEVER again. :’)
The problem is when you're stationary in front of the screens, the camera is moving about quite a lot. This causes a discrepancy between what you're seeing and what you feel and that can trigger motion sickness.

So mad, I was just there august 1st and I had fast passes and everything to ratatouille and the power went out. So I never got to ride it because they never got it open again in time.

They're making this exact same ride at Epcot? What a shame. I've been on this ride in Paris, and it was a huge disappointment after experiencing all the screen based rides at Universal Orlando. Universal did it right, they actually made the ride cars seriously tilt and get raised up and down based on what you're seeing on screen, making their rides much more immersive.
Not sure what you're talking about but these car tilt, shake and spray water as well. I found this ride to be very immersive

It opens 2020 not 2021. I’m going to Disneyland Paris this summer and I have a layover in Miami on the way home and I’m hoping to pop over to Orlando for a few days to try this out so hopefully I can go on both versions of this ride!

well don't you know what attractions are? Besides rollercoasters almost all attractions is about moving through different rooms with decorations the only difference here is that those decorations are on screen and some rooms are still real-life decorations so I dont get your point?
@@360gamer11 In this ride, when you go to a different screen, it tries to make it look like that your moving through the kitchen but the fact that you have to move to a different screen each time kind of ruins the illusion.
@@slasherfan9748 No it doesn't ruin anything. You are supposed to be a rat and you are being chase in the kitchen. It's a 3D experience, there is smell from the kitchen(you can literally smell the ratatouille plate and real orange juice when you are in the fridge scene), you can feel the heat when you are under the oven, the vehicles are vibrating and you feel like you are getting pushed back, forward etc when the champagne pops ups (you are getting a bit wet as well), when you are falling into the kitchen etc. And the queue is soooo detailed, you feel like you are in the movie. The restaurant next to it is also a copy from Remy's bistort in the movie and everything is huge so you can fell like you are in a rat's size. They did an amazing job with this one and when they bring it to your parks, you will see it in person.

I'm a big fan of Ratatouille and I went to Paris with very high expectations of this ride but it was such a let down. The show building is amazing and the restaurant is great aswell. But the ride just wasn't good at all. The actual theming wasn't impressive and the screens just dont work imo. How was this ride €200 M and Symbolica (which is much better imo) around €35 M ? Ratatoullie doesn't even have any Animatronics right? I hope Disney builds a better ride in Epcot!
