I just went 2 days ago, and i have to say i loved this ride. So realistic, visuals are amazing. The cast really were rude, sticking to their role, i loved it. One of them said oh you bring children to your mission, how desperate, it rained, and most of us had ponchos and they said you brought trash bags, this is not cleaning day. Some people werent following directions and standing on their color, and the lady said stand on red its not that hard. 😂😅😂 best ride ever, its an amazing experience 100% recommend it specially at night.
hehe I had a similar experience a few days ago! I went with my sibling, my mom, and our foreign exchange student from Germany. In line, me, my sister, and the student agreed it would be hilarious if we just. Spoke in diffrent languages to the cast members if we were spoken to (this was our first time on the ride). I was to speak Japanese or ASL, my sister chose French, and the student, of course, chose German. We were told to stand on red and the student (who is mostly fluent in English btw) was standing *next to* the red circle at the end and the cast asked "What color are you?" to him and he responded "Red (in german)". The Cast member was stunned for a moment and asked again to get the same answer before saying "That's black, not red" when he realized we were all trying to stifle laughter. They were so good at keeping in character it was an amazing experience!
Just went on this yesterday. I'm not a Star Wars fan, but man, the Imagineers successfully tapped into the emotional journey this ride is capable of taking anyone one. From the moment you get in line you truly feel like you're a part of something bigger than life. I haven't felt that way on ride since I first rode Hollywood Tower of Terror at Disneyland. It was my favorite ride. I never thought the Imagineers could redeem themselves after they transformed Tower of Terror into that horrible Guardians ride, but Rise of the Resistance proved me wrong. Hands down it's a masterpiece for its time.
I completely agree with this statement. I was so worried at first when I heard about this then it happened and thought “oh that was nothing!” Plus the immersion you feel and being in this intense moment makes this all the better.
Literally the best ride at Disneyland, definitely one of my favs, I legit went on it twice, and the first time I went on it I couldn't believe the ride i had just been on, like I was shocked coming off of that ride. If you go to Disneyland you should def get a lighting lane pass for this ride.
11/10 .... This isn't just a "ride" this is a full blown experience. I've never felt like I was more "there" in anything ever before. You feel as though you are IN the movies / shows. I'm not a Star Wars aficionado of any kind but still found this to be an absolutely stunning masterpiece. Disney imagineers brought a huge smile to a middle aged man's face. Thank you.
First time going on this ride , never seen Star Wars & I WAS BLOWN AWAY. HANDS DOWN INCREDIBLE RIDE. ENTIRE TIME I WAS ON EDGE. I CANT WAIT TO GO BACK.
AHHH THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! I was at Disneyland for 3 days a few days ago! I only got to ride this ride once on my first day, was at California adventures the next day, and the last day when I went to ride it again it closed early! I was so sad I missed out on riding it again, I'm so happy it's documented somewhere so I can see it again!!
*Got to love that Drop!* 🤣 Reals, I heard there was a drop that's part of the ride. I'm like; "We just went up. We got to come down some way, some how" Lol.
I fell in love with this ride at Disney World. It's a little different there than at Disneyland. I went to Disneyland recently. I rode this ride 4 times! So much fun! ❤
Just went on this ride today! I had no idea what to expect and wow.... this ride exceeded my expectations! Loved the immersive experience!!!! I loved that the cast members were in full character
We were lucky enough to experience it in both the daytime and at night; I love how the video of the blastoff from Batuu takes the time of day into account and uses the appropriate day/night video! 😊 We also got the alternative ending (used when the final Kylo Ren animatronic is not working), where Kylo Ren shows up in his Tie Silencer and threatens us until he is damaged (much like Darth Vader's ship in A New Hope), allowing the transport to escape to the drop ship. The best, most immersive ride we've ever experienced.
Right now I am going on this exact ride so this will be helpful because I have a heart disease so I was just checking if there was any drops or something
I went there recently and I found it an amazing experience. I was with a guest who wasn't tall enough to ride, and we had already paid Lightning Lane for them, so I got to go twice through Lightning Lane. It was a really great experience, and it felt so realistic. One of my top rides.
It’s maybe 15 feet straight down like tower of terror. You get the dropping feeling for a split second but if you know it’s coming then it’ll be fine. You’ll love it
I was terrified of the drop too! I hadn't watched the video of the ride so I had no idea when it was coming. I don't do well with straight drops, I hate splash mountain, have never done tower of terror. This was totally doable and really added to the whole experience. Just gave me the butterflies for a second or two, it was so fun.
do you know if they can enter? I bought already the 😢 tickets for his 7 birthday cuz is his favorite movie. I wonder if he and brother 5 yo can ride. greetings from Mexico.
one of the best rides, when i first went on it we were standing in like for like two hours and it was late at night. me and my family thought the area where u r transported was the ride at first lolll. it was a pleasant surprise and was one of the best nights
This ride is one of the best things that came from the Sequel Trilogy unlike the Transformers ride being the only good thing to come from the Bay movies

a karen would have blown up and ask to speak to the manager! 😂😂
When I went on this ride, the cast said: "Take all the pictures you want, it will all be very useful as evidence against you." XD
Does that final scene actually feel like your falling?

I’ve never seen starwars but this ride made me cry! So well made, so detailed! I LOVE this ride!
I got my first chance to ride this last week, and it is without a doubt the best ride I've been on. Just amazing.
Just rode it twice this week! For anyone who doesn't like drops, it's only a 1 floor quick drop at 10:50 and then goes down slowly.
I completely agree with this statement. I was so worried at first when I heard about this then it happened and thought “oh that was nothing!” Plus the immersion you feel and being in this intense moment makes this all the better.
Thanks. I was most worried about that. Similar to the 2nd drop in Pirates? That's what it looks like on this.
Rain or shine, Rise of the Resistance is still an incredible attraction to experience at the parks. One of the best! 😃
May the force be with you, DocumentDisney. PLEASE keep these Disney themed attraction videos coming.
11/10 ride. Has been my dream to go on this for years, I finally got to last week. Was amazing

If you get motion sickness pretty easily, would this ride be bad?
@mikayocc
Yes it is a lot of motion, but I would take a Dramamine pill before going on ride
@@mikayocc I would say maybe, the first part of the ride is totally fine but the last part features a drop and it is quite a bit of motion
@@brandonreq Thank you!

Simply the greatest ride I've ever been on. Amazing creativity and attention to detail. This is the new benchmark.

Oh shit so it's an actual drop like the holly wood tower
@@outsyder8523 More like drop into the simulator part that takes you down slowly. But still, you do drop that catches riders off guard.
@@eddyblanco7210 I get that stomach tickle effect when u go down drops I hate it
@@outsyder8523 Is it scary? because I hate HTH (holywood tower hotel).
@real_hello_kitty it's not bad I went IT on it u feel a little tickle on your stomach for like less then a second then you float
i love this ride, one my favorites. i hate drops, but even though when the elevator drop happened, it was still fun. highly recommend ❤
Bravo. Experienced this with my dad. Unforgettable

this is my favorite ride literally ever. best ride i've been on in my entire life
I went on this ride at Disney World 3 years ago. I went to Disneyland weeks ago and I rode this as well
One of my favorite rides of all time
Geeze it's a decent length of a ride
chills around me when i saw the stormtroopers so cool amazing i love 5 stars 😑😛😜🤪😝😝😝
Went on this yesterday and when we got boarded the lady was 4"10 but had the presence of a giant. It was brilliant.
Right now I am going on this exact ride so this will be helpful because I have a heart disease so I was just checking if there was any drops or something
there is one drop when you enter that escape pod at the end but it's not a huge one! just a few seconds, maybe less
really is the pinnacle of rides
I went there recently and I found it an amazing experience. I was with a guest who wasn't tall enough to ride, and we had already paid Lightning Lane for them, so I got to go twice through Lightning Lane. It was a really great experience, and it felt so realistic. One of my top rides.
5:03 I can’t imagine a less threatening person. LOL.
I need to know how bad the drop is 😅 I can handle space mountain & thunder mountain… but splash mountain drop was too much for me
It’s maybe 15 feet straight down like tower of terror. You get the dropping feeling for a split second but if you know it’s coming then it’ll be fine. You’ll love it
The drop is super short. It is faster than on Pirates of the Caribbean.
You drop about 10ft, enough to give the illusion, but not long enough to get worried. You'll be OK
Definitely not to huge! Just a few seconds, probably less than that. It's just a quick one, not as bad as Tower of Terror/Guardians of the Galaxy
I was terrified of the drop too! I hadn't watched the video of the ride so I had no idea when it was coming. I don't do well with straight drops, I hate splash mountain, have never done tower of terror. This was totally doable and really added to the whole experience. My favorite ride!
Just noticed that they cut some of Rey’s dialogue at the beginning. The line “Thank you bb8, shouldn’t you be in flight prep?” Isn’t there anyone
i was there last week. very very impressive
That's truly amazing. I wonder how a 7-year-old boy would react to "it's a small world" after something this spectacular, with no nostalgia feelings.
do you know if they can enter? I bought already the 😢 tickets for his 7 birthday cuz is his favorite movie. I wonder if he and brother 5 yo can ride. greetings from Mexico.
RISE OF THE RESISTANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ride broke down everytime i went, and i was looking forward to riding this since it opened (bc it opened 1 week after I visited disneyland in 2019)
Wait, I went on the SAME DAY but at a different time at night! 😅
one of the best rides, when i first went on it we were standing in like for like two hours and it was late at night. me and my family thought the area where u r transported was the ride at first lolll. it was a pleasant surprise and was one of the best nights
My jaw when I saw the stormtroopers in person 😮🤯🤑
Went for this ride…. Ride was broke all morning. Paid the extra money to secure a spot for later when it opened…. Got all the way to carts… rode broke
Ride broke yesterday sadly but I didn't go on it til earlier today. Took I think 2 hrs to get to the ride lol.
Not a big fan of star wars but I love this ride
this looks so much fun but i would definitely get motion sick☹️☹️
Went on the ride 2 days ago and the drop nearly made my soul file for a divorce.
This is fun ride
5:06
Is this guy serious right now?
At least PRETEND you have SOME KIND of authority. I wouldn't leave a burning building if this guy ordered me to.
Yeah I wouldve started cracking up hard the second he started "ordering" us to report for interrogation 😂
My brothers convinced me to go on the ride, but a cast member told me there was a drop, were is the drop?? Can anyone tell me
In the escape drop sequence
9:36 R2D2 Scream
RISE UP!!!!!!!!!
8:32 is that a real person (bevor goes up in the Elevator)?
No, it’s an animatronic
10:50
Idk but this week all the rides have been breaking
Can we now get in line or do we have to get in with boarding pass
They have a standby line and a Lighting Lane but the LL is $25. Depending on the time of day you go the standby is not so bad.
I got unlucky when I went on the first time and the Kylo Ren animatronic at the end stopped working
I got unlucky the first time and it broke down

He doesn’t make them
Imagine how much better this would be with classic characters people actually liked.
Bummer to see the cannons aren't moving.

Awesome ride but Ray sucks as a character.
