Single Pilot Piper Warrior II Landing in High Winds!!

In this video I fly the Piper Warrior II to the airport Wings Field where I first started learning how to fly. However, during the flight I experience high winds and land with large wind gusts.

Good deal. Sport pilot is an excellent option as well. New mosaic rules are changing light sport in a dramatic way.
1. Weight from 1320lbs to 3000lbs plus
2. Speed from 120knots to 250knots
3. Constant speed prop
4. Retractable gear
5. Stall speed from 45knt to 54knt
6. Four seat aircraft like yours
7. Night flight
8. Helicopters for light sport

Good job keeping centerline between legs and lead rudder on the gust wing wag. Rudder only will help with light gust, strong usually triggers aileron but not necessary, to level wing. Yes, the spring interconnect is moving the steering wheel a bit.
