  • We are about to say goodbye to Newfoundland - finally.... After spending 6 months sailing around the island in winter, we are ready for some warmer temperatures further south. The crossing to Nova Scotia /Cape Breton eluded us all winter, but we are determined to get there this time around. However, first we have only last anchorage to explore. We made our final preparations for crossing to Nova Scotia and enjoyed one more spectacular Newfoundland anchorage! Little Garia bay offered us some protection from some strong cold and wet winds and provided us with some last minute spectacular hiking and scenery. It was a fantastic Newfoundland send off!

    Great sailing.
I find that uV from sunlight will damage those polypropylene ropes on those stern spools.
Perhaps you could make covers for them.

I have to say that this video made my heart pound! I love that Judith was not panicked when she was sideways! Both of your sailing skills are very impressive! Can’t wait for the next video! Safe sailing! ❤

Ha! Thank you! Normally the saying in sailing is "Hours of boredom followed by moments of sheer terror..." But up here it has been "Hours of terror followed by moments of boredom..." ;-0. Hahahahaha
