I just got a great neck from Warmoth, a 22 fret strat modern/vintage neck with stainless steel frets and a Graphtech nut. I give it a 9.9999 out of ten. It's really a superb neck, the only thing I found from nitpicking is there was bit of uneven clearcoat on the heel that needed a little attention (reason: factors into stability). Not a big deal. It's being mated to a white 80s Charvel with an original Floyd, so it'll be like Guthrie Govan's Charvels ( no locking nut). The neck pocket on that is just a hair wide so I'll be filling that somehow and doing some paint work. I had to level my pocket and adjust the neck angle too but I had a lot of material to work with so I opted to route it (I avoid shims if at all possible). I've had it all together with a junk pickup just to test it out and it's oustanding how well it stays in tune and how well they did the frets and the nut. when I finish the guitar I'm putting in an uncovered Gibson 490 humbucker (fat tone). If you remember me at all, you know I usually have nothing good to say about anything (reasons of course), that that's saying something when I actually like something.
What kind of jig did you use to route the pocket? That sounds like an awesome guitar! You should try an a8 in that 490. It tightens things up a little and gives it more growl. It really woke my Les Paul 490 bridge up

I'd suggest wood screws though as they won't strip as easily.

Yes it neck heavy, but I’ve felt worse. The strap buttons went on warrior style
