I’ve switched up my strategy and only open/drink one bottle at a time. I recognize that’s not realistic for you or any content creator, but it makes it easier and more enjoyable for me as a casual whiskey enthusiast. The only exception is I do keep a good mixer on the ready. Cheers 🥃
I adopted the same strategy. I start and finish a bottle approximately every two weeks.
Same, I think it allows me to study the tasting notes.
I love your videos! Thank you for sharing your opinions and sharing your knowledge. We “new to bourbon “ people really appreciate help with what to try and buy
You know you might have a problem when you have so many bottles you forget about some of them lol great video cheers!🥃
Problem? There is such a thing as a good problem? lol. Cheers
Great list!!! we will film ours this week and get it out there too!🥃
Oh that OKI is one I have not tried. I keep passing on that old elk. Now I need to grab one. Great list. Thanks for sharing. Cheers
Nice! I’ve only been on my journey for about 18 months and I went back to a few bottles. Legent, Knob Creek 1/4 oak, Sam Houston 14yr, and McKenna 10yr! Cheers!
It seems like (at least a couple of) the bottles are all whiskies you enjoyed and then stopped drinking after you went through a bit of it. I do that sometimes with bottles I don't know if I can get again or maybe can get, buy don't want to go through the hassle of getting again. Maybe?
I really want to try the Decadence but the price for that proof point is tough for me.
Cheers Bud 🥃
I’ve got a couple of those gathering dust myself.
I'm weird when it comes to whisky. I tend to only have one to two bottles open at a time. Once I polish off an open bottle then I open another. The only exception is when I throw a party and open 4 or so bottles.
Just killed off a bottle of Decadence last night. I agree, it's not mapley at all to me, just a sweetness
