Hey Aubrey! I got this box as well! I got it on Wednesday, and I had my man video me opening it, and I DID post it here on UA-cam. Unfortunately, even on the original of the video, the sound cuts out between 6-7 minutes. I didn't discover that until I posted the video and went to watch it, and then I discovered that problem, and found the root of it. I was really disappointed by the video I posted because of that, but I know it wasn't his fault. He didn't even know about it.
I absolutely LOVED this box!!!! One thing I wish they would have included in the DIY hiccup potion is a candle of sealing wax to seal the cork top, because I put mine together that night, and I even put the double sided round clear rubbery sticker thingy on the bottom end of the cork stopper, thinking that might have been the way to seal it. Nope! It still leaks a little bit. And mine even came with a twine cord to wrap around the neck of the bottle.
And I got the queen from the chess set. It's the same color and motif as the king that you got.
And I had a cup of the Divination tea, and honestly, I really didn't like the flavor of it. The predominant flavors that you can taste, and in order of strength, hibiscus, spearmint, black tea. You really can't taste the rose hips, but it gives the tea a pinky hue, and you really can't taste the apple either. But, the way I made mine is that I deconstructed a regular Lipton tea bag, refilled it with the Divination tea in as even a mixture as I could, closed the top of the bag with a safety pin, and microwaved it in a cup of water for 3 minutes, stirring it when it was done in the microwave. Of course, I sipped it with my spoon to taste the flavor without sugar, and, yeah, I needed sugar with it. Sugar DID make the flavors a bit better and enhanced it a bit too. For me, the tea is a bit of an acquired taste.
And I started writing in the notebook this morning. I LOVE the silver foiling on it!!! So Niffler inducing!!!! And the pen I'm using to write in it is a Herbology themed pen, and I even had Kimberly J. Brown use it when she graciously gave me an autograph for free earlier this year.
I thought the details on the backs of the paper replicas was PERFECTION!!!!!! Beautifully detailed and executed!!!!
The toad on the pillow, my 3 year old son LOVES IT!!!! He's ALWAYS begging me for it when he sees it!!!! He wants to have it, rather than me!!!! Lol!!!!! 😂😂😂😂❤❤❤

And right now, at this moment, I'm wearing the T-shirt from the box!!! And I THINK the type of brooms that are depicted on it are Cleansweeps brand brooms. I don't think they're either from the Nimbus series or the Firebolt series. But I LOVE the design of it, and it fits me perfectly. I got a 3X.
It's my 1st EVER subscription box, and I'm in LOVE with it!!!!!

I am soooo glad you loved the box and your love is infectious!!! 🥰 That is a bummer on the video. We've definitely had our oopsies along the way, I guess it just comes with the creating territory.
I agree, the seal would have helped in being a more complete potion and one that can't easily leak or evaporate. I haven't tried the tea yet, love how you dove right in, but you got me excited to try it!

@@LoveLumos Hey Aubrey! Thanks for taking the time and care to properly respond to my comment! 💖 I have a bit of an update on the potion. I've shaken it lately, and no leakage!!! So the rubber double sided sticker DID work to seal it up after all!!! But I haven't taken the time to try to figure out how to wrap the twine around the neck of the bottle yet though. My son loves the pretty swirlie glittery look of the potion too. I've recently shaken it up for him to show him the potion, and he said it was pretty. But still, over all, I'm happy with my 1st subscription box.

I loved this box! And personally I love the DIY potions, I would imagine shipping water in winter could prove challenging considering it would likely freeze.

I don´t want to hate on these boxes. I feel like I anticipate too much. Maybe I`m spoiled. I just think there is so much more that could be made. I love an in-world feeling. Subscription boxes in general do have those kind of items that transport that feeling, way more than you would find anywhere else. I have seen some amazing things. It just makes me sad when there´s missed opportunities.
I really like the club theme, but I wasn´t too impressed by most of the items themselves. The shirt is fine, the key is, too (although getting a key every time somehow takes away from that feeling). I like items that could be from the wizarding world. Like the DA coin that showed the times they met. That has been in at least one box before, and I enjoyed that. I would have liked a schedule with all the clubs like it would be on the board in the common rooms. Or a throphy. Okay, that print was a similar thing. I would enjoy member passes or magazines on the topics of the clubs, like a Quidditch magazine or the newest scientific article on astronomy. Things that would be used in the world. Potions are fine, but I`m a little over them. Seeing a plant other than a mandrake would be amazing, or a plush of a creature that isn´t represented that often.
Subscription box or not, I would love more stuff that gives me the feeling I´m in the wizarding world. I much prefer these over something that has a HP Logo or Harry on it.
Man, I wish I had the tools to make paper replicas myself. I have so many ideas, but I can only try and draw them. I´m not good at writing and drawing in a way that it looks authentic. I do it anyways, but if I could design something digitally and print it on a paper that looks like parchment - that would be amazing. Maybe I should look into that more.

I feel very similarly. Matt feels it even more. We’ve also felt that we’ve been getting too much of the same thing, in content and design. I hope their call out to new artists is utilized and new things are tried.
I could elaborate so much more but maybe in a future livestream (got some planned). 😄
I can say, we are planning merch. I’ve even thought of a mystery box, and there will likely be times that we reach out to all of you to gather your ideas, because like with these boxes, we are all the ones paying for them, so to ask us what we’d like to see is to potentially enlist a lot of creativity, new ideas, and meet some desires. It’s what I appreciate about Magic Delivered, is they seem to try new things and recently made a call out to us to see what we want.

I love your insights on this box and share the same 😊 This is my 3rd Keep Collecting box and I felt disappointed to be honest. If it were a regular subscription box I still wouldn’t love it, but being it was a special edition box I would have liked to have seen more unique and special items apart from the iterations we seem to get in every sub box. I also agree it would be nice for them to provide another style of t-shirt apart from Staff shirts. I have long hair which covers the back so I don’t typically wear them because of that reason. Thank you for this review! I love your channel! 🥰

It can be mildly nerve racking to share feelings that aren’t a part of the hype train (on any train) but I’ve not been much for hype, groupthink, or what’s popular, but more what I like and find good, quality, and brings joy to my life … especially when hard earned coin is going to it. I promise to continue that going forward. 💯

I was a little dissapointed in this box. I was hoping for a more seasonal box, and it seemed to repeat other things the Wizarding Trunk had in prior boxes.

Hey witchy gal! Congrats, you got the king! I recieved the queen! It was a bit hard to tell the difference. The dot is for the twine to be attached to the bottle. TWT has had to replace some bottles due to damage. This way no bottle breaks and damages the box contients.
TWT did hot choccolate last year.
They also did the tea in Hagrid's box.
I loved the key!
The award is great! The pin irritates my Gryffindor heart! The box on the whole is very good but not as good as last years!

I don't have the box, but by your opening my favorites are the wand, the pin, the journal and that little note from Dumbledore, wich somehow left me in tears. It somehow (for me) sounded like the last Goodbye from both movie actors...
I felt a little teary myself, just thinking of Dumbledore and what a loss we all have had.
New to your channel, but I agree with you on the t-shirts. I like the graphics on the front. This box was not as good as the last two by the Potter Collector. The quality of the items seemed too cheap.
I like the idea of the staff tee, but want to see all the action myself. haha But again, I know that's personal preference.
Totally fair. I didn't get the last two to compare. It'd be unfair if I went off of other people's videos of those, than having them in my hands. You'd be a good judge of them, if you got them all.
Got this box and it’s one of my favorite one. I’m a sucker for DIY potion stuff so that one is a huge plus. Yet that frog statue, not for me. Paint job was lacking and I wish I had more experience on painting figurines but I don’t.

You spent so much money on this keep collecting box and you don't even bother reading the cheat and taking the time to do the DIY items and making sure you have everything. I didn't see that you had the twine nor the wax little circle label to wrap the twine around to keep the twine in place
I read the cheat sheet at the end of every sub unboxing, and only cover things I need clarification on. 😁

I also do not find you speaking like a baby funny when you're an adult speak normal so I can enjoy your channel and take the time to really look through the box You're missing a lot so definitely read the cheat sheet and you'll be impressed that DIY potion is adorable Make sure that you gently shake it and that the court is on good and there is a wax little sticker for you to go around the twine whip so it stays on
