The Highroller Cat (the one that benefits from scoring six) will be better if placed at the end since it only gains points AFTER a six has been scored. @@loganbissett1392 as a steamdeck player, I can say, that you can play any game, just use trackpad as a mouse abd triggers as mouse buttons (i use left trigger as LMB and right trackpad as mouse movement). And if you need any other keyboard keys just bind them to XYAB or bumpers.
If the stickers could talk, the deer one would have been yelling at you all game! Looks like a fun game, perhaps could use a ‘boss round’ feature instead of increasing points threshold for some freshness. The occasional different win-con would be very welcomed.
Just the other day I was thinking to myself "why hasn't anyone made a yahtzee rogue-like yet?" after seeing just how many freaking "simple game but rogue like" games have been coming out. I'm glad someone else thought the same.
One major thing, I got sick of the music within 10 minutes. I know I know, "just turn the music off", but I never did that with Balatro in 200+ hours, and I feel like their OST reinforces the mindset of jumping straight back into another run. I actually put an extended mix of the Balatro theme on in the background while playing this demo, and it definitly helped me go 90 minutes straight without noticing.
@@OlexaYT Oh I know it's an unreasonable comparison on many levels, but the music for this game sounds heavily inspired by the ZX Spectrum soundchip, which...is a choice. I think a more generalized retro/chiptune track would go far, as the "bloopiness" became actually grating to my ears. I mostly just mean this as constructive feedback, and since the game is sooo close to Balatro, I think the comparison is fair to a degree.

Why were you putting a six into the 2nd slot if you bought that thing on the 2nd cat to take odd dice and increase by one wouldn't you want to put a six somewhere else. Or did you want to make sure you got the 2x

I find myself humming the Balatro theme at least once a day still - it's definitely god tier and humbles everything else by comparison 😂
