Finally a detailed and specific review on this laptop. Otherwise, the reviews are like "Battery sahi hai, graphics sahi hain", I mean what to interpret from this generalized sentences. Really appreciate your efforts brother! As you mentioned, this laptop gives only 2 to 3 hrs backup, which means this laptop is not for me. Can you suggest me a good laptop in the same range that can handle python, MATLAB and some student level 3D modelling and simulation but also has 5+hrs battery backup. (I am targeting new laptop with minimum i5, 12th gen, 8gb ram, 256 or 512 SSD and graphics if they are necessary for the above mentioned requirements). Thank you in advance brother.

I am not a expert but recently I purchase my new laptop which is HP victus, for this I have done a little bit research on internet. I suggest you to go for "intel Vivo certified laptop" which is little bit costly but must fulfill your requirements .

For 3D modelling for u will need a dedicated graphics card...but for normaal coding many laptos are there (without GPU) like pavilion i5 12 gen or anything r5 5500H but. For rendering u will need a dedicated graphics and 1650 is more than enough for that .. don't go for RTX 2050 its bad even 1650 is good than that...hope it helps

option 2: If brand matter to you then pick in this series .....hp .... Lenovo and then acer.
Option 3: bring best of best performance, price and brand then go for hp pavilion.
Personal choice if I had to select:
Lenovo (as I am a Lenovo user past 3yrs and my experience is good with their laptop performance and user customisation).

@@UnboxTech14 not really. The TUF has a well known Hinge issue. My friend has the laptop and the hinge broke very early.
The Victus 16" 5800H RTX3050 has a very good body and the 100% sRGB display with 300 nits brightness (it gets very very bright, that extra 50nits makes a lot of difference). Also 70Whr battery.
