50 years ago, I found a pork loin recipe I still love. You sauté some shallots and garlic, brown the pork and put it all in a pot, cover with milk and simmer until the temp reaches 160. The milk curdles but you put it in the blender or food processor until it’s smooth add some flour, whisk and simmer. It makes a very tender pork. I serve it with mashed potatoes and roasted carrots. It’s very tender.
I watch your videos to feel comfort when i don't feel good or don't have anything in mind i rewatch your videos it makes me so happy and keeps me entertained at the same time, there is something about the way you talk and explain things in the videos it is soo mesmerizing laura i love it💗

I made this last night......was really a great recipe. The gravy was so flavorful and the pork loin was so juicy . I temped it and did not take as long to cook. Tasted great and looked like a picture. I will be using roasted garlic much more in the future.
It looks amazing. Can this be cooked ahead and frozen? I would like to do this for our annual sibling vacation and don't want to take all the time to cook it there.

why not get get loose sausage, easier. I cannot cook with long sleeves. Anyway, found your site to learn how to cut the loinl good job. Remember stuffing needs to be cold to put with cold raw meat before baking it. thanks.
Pork, other than ham and bacon, is a flavorless meat. I definitely wouldn't go to all this trouble for just the taste of spices and fillings, but I do appreciate the effort, Laura

Just be careful with cross contamination. I noticed you touching the meat and then putting your hands in the salt and around the pepper mill. That’s a no no. Just a heads up.
Why do all chefs smash the crap out of their garlic to get the skins off? I just cut the ends off and the paper skins come right off. Be gentle with your garlic. Lol 😝

In the U.K we normally serve alongside apple sauce, or also roast a cooking apple. Great combination.
