The daughter looked so familiar to me! Then I realised she had a podcast seres with Shane Dawson where she mentioned her mom getting shot. Crazy story! Thankfully the mom is okay 🙌🏼♥️
It seems to me Mary Jo did everything humanly possible to make the marriage work, but, ultimately, took the right decision to leave & has now found a partner worthy of her. As for her ex-husband, I see nothing but bad times ahead for him - old-age, loneliness, degradation...
From all the series I watched on these marriages, this is the only woman who is completely adequate and acts adequately during the whole time. Not completely blinded and delusional. I am happy that she survived and found somebody new :)
I read a book written about "Mary Anne," aka Amy Fisher, the husband's lover. Amy thought the amount of time (5- 15 years) she got for shooting Mary Jo was unfair. Her reasoning - that Joe should have taken some of the responsibility because he promised he would leave Mary Jo for her. LOL
It's incredible how women, in general, forget values, compassion, respect and so on, we become blind. It's very sad that this woman gave 100% of herself to this man. He was worthless. Glad to know she moved on. She deserves it ❤
Wow, the daughter's statements though..she still wanted her parents to stay together even after the fact....it really shows the very negative impact her dad had on the entire family . He cared nothing about his wife, what if Amy had gone after his kids instead? Would Jessica still have wanted her parents to stay together? I don't think so. That whole family is effed in the head. No clue what Mary Jo saw in him to stay with him for that long, he's not even handsome.
I saw the film Amy Fisher long time ago, and I could not believe that she stayed with his husband after knowing his infidelity. His coke addiction had to be a warning, but she instead wanted to believe that everything was ok and that he loved her. She learned the hard way.
