I’m sorry, as a sprinter there really is no reason for this unless you were tripped up by someone or an object on the track.
Run your race within your capabilities and don’t try some silly dive. Silver is still a metal.

I fell turning the corner in the 4x100 relay in elementary school. I’m 50 and remember that day like Yesterday. Every detail but I learned a lot about myself. In life you can look at it as a fall or a stumble. A fall you stay down. A stumble you keep going after whatever happens. Please don’t beat yourself up. Keep going because you’re in a special situation. You had the opportunity to run in the Paris 2024 Olympic. It’s an honor to watch you.

If I remember correctly she unfortunately was Disqualified because she dropped the baton when she fell so they didn’t even get the Bronze smh, but she certainly overcame and redeemed herself and her teammates wining Gold a couple days ago and she ran a great race. A great comeback story.

@@reinarrhor8101 I'm not sad. I like her as a runner. She is great, but she was going to lose this day regardless. She didn't have that second gear late in her long stride. The it Olympics see did what she was supposed to do. I guess she isn't as comfortable not been the person to chase.
