Oh, my heart 😢💔 I hope she can still be proud of herself - she was clearly RIGHT THERE for the world record with the ultimate winner. She just fell. She still performed a HECK of a race. Sports, especially for big ecents like this, are so tough mentally, because ONE MISTAKE in ONE RACE can make you forget ALLLLLL the other amazing feats you've accomplished! Im so proud of her for getting right back up and finishing bronze - that speaks to her focus, determination, and how much of a lead she and her team had created.
Alexis had reached full stride and had momentum, she more than likely would've still won had Bol not fallen. It would've been close, but Bol waited to late to switch gears and probably didn't expect that last second burst. It looks like she should've been shifting gears not long after the turn. I guess it's easier said when you're not out there running, but it seems like she gave it gas going down a hill and immediately let go of her clutch.
Yup she had worm legs way before that but she’s such an athlete you couldn’t tell until she buckled She gave EVERYTHING to keep the lead Prolly hitting a constant speed she wasn’t accustomed

Absolutely! Finish the race no matter what happens. First reason, finish what you start. Second reason is someone could be disqualified which could result in you “earning” first place.
The fact that she got up right away and crossed that finish line to get the bronze says a LOT about her perseverance, commitment and her ‘giterdun’ mentality! Very talented and gutsy athlete who has so much to be proud of!

Not true, she broke herself
This is when you need grace to overcome the unimaginable
Bol is a beast. World class. She had an outstanding overall performance for her country at the Olympics. Very happy for US here too.
Mannnn, that laugh was soooooo disrespectful 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂 I hope she was laughing at the moment, her co-anchor, the shock of what just happened and not necessarily at the competitor who fell.
That was sickening. That woman is a world class athlete and that hideous announcer laughed at her struggle. What a C U Next Tuesday.
She was the SECOND Dutch runner that day that was winning but panicked towards the finish line. I watched this about 2 weeks ago.
And the next race they were out because of cheating.
Daaaannnnng
double Dutch treat😮
This moment made her mad and she had been a beast since. I love her. She’s my favorite non-American runner or athlete of any kind.
Yeah looks like she was mad enough to try and take out her competitor. These folks are a mess. If I dont when neither will she!! Its crazy
**WIN**
Oh, my heart 😢💔 I hope she can still be proud of herself - she was clearly RIGHT THERE for the world record with the ultimate winner. She just fell. She still performed a HECK of a race. Sports, especially for big ecents like this, are so tough mentally, because ONE MISTAKE in ONE RACE can make you forget ALLLLLL the other amazing feats you've accomplished!
Im so proud of her for getting right back up and finishing bronze - that speaks to her focus, determination, and how much of a lead she and her team had created.
Bol tried to switch to another gear at the end but had experience transmission failure
All the alarms on her dashboard lit up
Trueeeee😂😂😩😩🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@shioriryukazeLoL
Alternator unplugged lmfao 🤣
Her transmission high gear started Slipping!!😁
Congratulations, Team USA❤❤❤
I feel bad for Bol, she's going to feel this.
She did and responded well.
Gives her finish in this years Olympics even more meaning.
Sure
💯
She wasn’t playing around this year 😂😂
Her semi finish was the stuff of legend. Made fans of our whole family.
It’s been a lot of close races
She takes it like a champ
Proud 🇳🇱
Alexis had reached full stride and had momentum, she more than likely would've still won had Bol not fallen.
It would've been close, but Bol waited to late to switch gears and probably didn't expect that last second burst.
It looks like she should've been shifting gears not long after the turn.
I guess it's easier said when you're not out there running, but it seems like she gave it gas going down a hill and immediately let go of her clutch.
Correct. Her legs were gone, and trying to speed up. She had rubber legs! Holmes ran a 48 something.
Simply didn’t have enough gas in the tank
Yup she had worm legs way before that but she’s such an athlete you couldn’t tell until she buckled
She gave EVERYTHING to keep the lead
Prolly hitting a constant speed she wasn’t accustomed
She used all she had in before the end , save your last energy at the end
Sonya's laugh has me so tickled 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Riight?!😂
Lol
You should hear mine. 😂I had to close my bedroom door for fear of waking up my grandson 😅 I have no shame 😊 This sweet mi!
😂😂

I'm happy for the U. S.,, but I feel sorry for the Netherlands' girl.I pray that she can overcome this disappointment. Without the fall, she wins gold. Good for her for getting back up! That's strength!
Dutch girl that’s a heartbreaker. You let it slip away and will never forget.
I guess she made up for it tonight.
Never give up! That’s the message!
Absolutely! Finish the race no matter what happens. First reason, finish what you start. Second reason is someone could be disqualified which could result in you “earning” first place.
Exactly she came back after that fall 👍🏽
USA never gave up and won! It's sad that she fell, but she redeemed herself 2023 when she won! 😊
She tripped her.

GEAUX FEMKE KEEP YOUR HEAD UP YOU'RE AMAZING ❤
The fact that she got up right away and crossed that finish line to get the bronze says a LOT about her perseverance, commitment and her ‘giterdun’ mentality! Very talented and gutsy athlete who has so much to be proud of!
Because anyone else would have laid there? LOL Give me a break. Any track athlete would have done the same.
No it doesn't lol
And now she won the Olympic gold medal so I'm sure she's fine
“If you ain’t first ur last” Ricky Bobby
If I remember correctly she unfortunately was Disqualified because she dropped the baton when she fell so they didn’t even get the Bronze smh, but she certainly overcame and redeemed herself and her teammates wining Gold a couple days ago and she ran a great race. A great comeback story.
She got up right away! She kept her head in the game and saved a spot for her team on the podium❤
DQ because she didn’t have the baton in her hand 😢
She got back up! True spirit of a champion! Also, congratulations to Team USA-y’all doin’ it in the Olympics this year!❤❤❤
This was the world championships in 2023
@@Skoomasanchez1 Thanks for the clarification!😎
Femke Bol is so gorgeous to me.
You fell but you got back up to finish and still medal
Happy for USA and yet sad for the lady who fell.
She was going to lose, so I'm not sad.
@@jamessanders6788 You are sad now
@@reinarrhor8101 I'm not sad. I like her as a runner. She is great, but she was going to lose this day regardless. She didn't have that second gear late in her long stride. The it Olympics see did what she was supposed to do. I guess she isn't as comfortable not been the person to chase.
SHE GOT BACK UP! and still secured a medal for her country 👏🏽
I love and respect femke bol.
Congrats Lexi I’m so proud of you.
