This race was soooo Wild. I would say the most wild race since then would be this years fall Dega race with Gaughan Flipping, photo finish with Ryan Newman giving away an easy win
this is why i like nascar. when i was a kid the two numbers you always saw were 3 and 24. the excitement in the rivalry between the two was epic. and here we are, 20 years later, same two cars battling it out, same numbers but two different drivers and yet have the same excitement and mentality. the 3 bashing and pushing his way to the front with a car with more body tape than panels, and the 24 meticulously driving to the front right there with him in an almost pristine car. its like nothing has changed.
As an Englishman used to watching Formula One I must say this (and the Indy series) are rather intriguing. The unrelenting speed on those ovals' is quite hypnotic. Enjoying this with a few pints!
+milkminotaur Yeah, if you're gonna explain to any European why NASCAR is exciting to watch, just show them some Talladega and Daytona races. You can forget about all the other tracks (unless something big happened like last year at Martinsville), but if you like watching restrictor-plate racing, your gonna be a NASCAR fan.
I'm a fellow englishman and I have to say I've started quite liking nascar. I've only been watching it from the start of the season, but it's turning out to be quite good. Much better than its portrayed to be
SHRChevy4 Do you know when NASCAR will post the Goody's Fast Relief 500 from Martinsville on their NASCAR Full Race Replays 2016- Playlist on UA-cam? Also when will they post tomorrow's race from Texas?
Wine&GoldUngar They do it two weeks after the race finishes because the network still has ownership of the race and NASCAR uploads it without the network logos.
Next time in October when the guys return to talladega in the chase it should be called 'The Demolition Derby 500'. For starters it looked a bit flat but once the first caution came out it sort of set the tone of what was to come. Two big BIG ones, Two rollovers and most cars looking more like being at bristol or dirt track racing at Eldora Raceway and the white deuce no 2 survived it all well the race had everything and safety evolved over the last 15 years paying dividend again in this race like Daytona July last season when the 3 flipped into the front stretch catch fence Austin Dillion walked away and this time with all those drivers involved walked away mostly unscathed. This has to be one of the craziest talladega races I have seen since when I started watching nascar at age 9 in 2001. This goes alongside the top 5 craziest races of my list. 1. 2016 Geico 500 2. 2005 Aarons 312 (Nascar Busch) 3. 2005 Aarons 499 4. 2002 Aarons 312 (Nascar Busch) 5. 2013 Aarons 499 Well most might say otherwise of what the top 5 craziest races at talladega but that's ok because that's the nature of racing at talladega at 200mph in a pack for 500 miles and only the strongest car survives.
Contrarians. Doesn't hurt the channel though. Any interaction is a good interaction in the math of the UA-cam algorithms and as such, the NASCAR channel benefits..
Nascar is the best, everything about it, even all these tracks! 0.5 miles, 1.5 miles, and the big man talladega the 3.0 mile baby with daytona and pocono behind as a 2.5 mile
DALE EARNHARDT SR’S BEST FRIEND AKA HIS SON DALE EARNHARDT JR. IS VERY AGGRESSIVE TODAY ON THAT RACE DAY JUST LIKE INTIMIDATOR 305 AT KINGS DOMINION THE AMUSEMENT PARK
Quick question from a NASCAR noob; On these fast drafting tracks do drivers agree before the race who they will work with or is it something that just develops over the race? I'm guessing there are also certain drivers you can trust to ''push you'' and other drivers you probably want to stay away from.
they plan who they want to draft with before the race, but these restrictorplate races are so unpredictable that most of the time it does not matter. hope that cleared things up.
You can plan all you want to....then they drop the green flag ;) Daytona and Talladega are so wild and unpredictable its hard to keep that plan together
“For the second time in a row, I can confidently say Casey Mears will get the free pass. Mears is the only car not on the lead lap, so he’ll be 23 laps down.” (3:05:09)
Scott Brown It's a NASCAR stronghold along with Daytona. People nowadays prefer to watch via television or online means. The aesthetic of half empty tracks is depressing. If you want to make a difference, buy tickets and go to a race.
Man these crashes are very serious i mean can nascar stop when they crash can they change the cars or something cause this is like automatic in talledega
They usually still race around back to pit road again, waving the caution makes sure that people aren't still going 190mph when safety vehicles are entering the track.
Ok the spotters should be able to tell them to just look out for the safety vehicles then. Plus if they just change the rules back to racing back to the caution it would be fine.
I remember my reaction when Brad won I went absolutely crazy so much that I could barely breathe and I was crying by the way I'm a brad fan if you're wondering.
This race was soooo Wild. I would say the most wild race since then would be this years fall Dega race with Gaughan Flipping, photo finish with Ryan Newman giving away an easy win

Jeff Gordon surprised me with some good commentary this year.

I missed the race, so I am thankful that this was uploaded. Thank you very much....Shouts from Germany...
I was there all weekend. Best racing ever.

Thanks for the upload, NASCAR, looking forward to seeing the race.

31:57 "He did not qualified well" - Mike Joy 2016
Best quote in all of nascar
Essa corrida marcou minha vida! Nunca vou me esquecer disso. Obrigado Alabama!! Ver o brad ganhar diante de meus olhos foi um sonho realizado.
Impressive how Austin Dillion was involved in not one but two accidents and still finished in the top five!

To the 65 people who disliked this video and therefore this race, what is wrong with you?
I know Right

Danica Patrick outta nowhere!
3:55:57 Harvick's sad day.
1:02:46 2:15:42 I didn't know Dale Jr crash twice in the same race. Pain..
Find it funny how the 14 car has Tony’s name on the car and window, but has the rookie stripes at the back for Dillion
NASCAR races end very slowly
Nascar is the best, everything about it, even all these tracks! 0.5 miles, 1.5 miles, and the big man talladega the 3.0 mile baby with daytona and pocono behind as a 2.5 mile
Talladega is 2.66 miles
THE 2016 GEICO 500 AT TALLADEGA SUPERSPEEDWAY IN ALABAMA IS VERY AGGRESSIVE TODAY!🔥
This race is very thrilling
2020 offseason anyone else?
the best race must be watchable
i was at talladega superspeedway the day of this race
DALE EARNHARDT SR’S BEST FRIEND AKA HIS SON DALE EARNHARDT JR. IS VERY AGGRESSIVE TODAY ON THAT RACE DAY JUST LIKE INTIMIDATOR 305 AT KINGS DOMINION THE AMUSEMENT PARK
I think now where people has to stay home. Alot people will be watch Nascar for a while now.

Beautiful race
If the Chase race is even close to this I'll be happy.
not happening. the only reason why the race was so close was because there was a big threat of rain
Connor Holden is
I want to see some action
Connor Holden
it wasn't
Griffin Mundell no it was not
My favorite driver from this race is Dale Earnhardt Jr.
This race is very aggressive today!🦖
1:55:38 big wreck
I would want to ride in one of these cars during a race
Are these electric cars now? Ya can barely hear them.
On the re-start before lap 60 yellow flag, M.W. on pole, I KNEW he would cause one!
F'ing NASCAR! Allowing BLOCKING like #2. HE was causing the bottlenecks in this race! This is the only race I watched this year. Further disgusted!
rahkin rah u clearly dont no anything about nascar
Bayne may not have won many races but he won Daytona not many drivers in the sport as long as he has won it
Is nascar going to put up full races on UA-cam now?
That will be awesome (:
+Michael Vixaysack They've been doing that for a while now. It's really cool in my opinion.
How did Harvick not flip at the end???
The W A L L lol
Brad Keselowski's 19th Career win
They really need to bring back communication between cars, too many crashes keep happening because of a lack of communication when bump drafting.
5:17 It's my idea, or near the track it is raining or there is a tornado.
Like if you think it's a tornado
Comment if you think it's raining
if it was a tornado they would have cancelled the race due to safety concerns
It was rain
I'm confused NASCAR. You posted the race rewind of talladega with 60fps and with the highlight clips. Why not the full race?
Not broadcasted in 60fps.
3:52:19 its Jeff Gordon!
yes this THE COMPLETE RACE.
No sun at Talladega Superspeedway, kinda depressing, but great race.
All of those cars are faster than formula rossa
Can I change the speed the video is playing in?
This option is not available on the cog.
+Mustavo Gaia I cannot
Holy crap! Filps in this race I did not watch this race
1:43:48 Whoah Denny Hamlin outta nowhere
Is it just me or does it seem that at least one of the Talladega races has a rain threat.
Why are most of tge NASCAR tracks half empty except this one
Scott Brown because this a track that a lot of ppl like
Scott Brown It's a NASCAR stronghold along with Daytona. People nowadays prefer to watch via television or online means. The aesthetic of half empty tracks is depressing. If you want to make a difference, buy tickets and go to a race.
Cocik was here.

WHY SOOOOOO MANY ADS NASCAR WTF
Dam what a wild race o_o
I like nascar now cause I've got it on forza 6
Наскар - гонка для настоящих мужиков!
So what Jeff Gordon says about when jr loeses his wheel is funny too listen too
I was wondering whose voice was making such brilliant commentary, unlike the usual banalities. he teaches a lot, J Gordon.
when's the first caution
The 1st caution is at lap 50 and on the backstretch 1:02:45
1:55:31 caution Chris buesher flip
why did the 14 swap drivers ?
I wonder why they always leave 10 minutes at the end of the video for a phrase saying "End of feed, goodnight satellite."
This is the international feed they send to all the countries. They overlay FOX play-by-play
Rides
Why NASCAR bothered with the caution at the end is beyond me. What was the point?
They usually still race around back to pit road again, waving the caution makes sure that people aren't still going 190mph when safety vehicles are entering the track.
Ok the spotters should be able to tell them to just look out for the safety vehicles then. Plus if they just change the rules back to racing back to the caution it would be fine.
I guess you want to see another Montoya 2012. Idiot.
Alissa MewMew lol completely different scenario but alright
T A L L A D E G A B O Y S
Chris Buesher , Matt Kenesth , Kevin Harvick get worst race rides
Well, nothing can beat that
3:56:58
2:05:36, 3:23:39, 3:23:55
How do I become a Nascar Driver?
You have to be poor and stupid. As Cartman taught us
:) yeah... I like no. 1 car that's pretty coll
Same
I remember my reaction when Brad won I went absolutely crazy so much that I could barely breathe and I was crying by the way I'm a brad fan if you're wondering.
