I remember I was astonished but flabbergasted that the moves are lore accurate than Unlimited Codes, but it’s also extremely janky and comedically (un)balanced. This is the studio’s second game too.
This type of content is by far your best drzuul. No one else is really filling this niche of “exploring forgotten and obscure fighting games” right now
Thanks I appreciate the support. I’ve come to that conclusion myself as well. when June is over. I plan to focus more on weird fighting games as I have the most fun making them. Truth be told it’s not the most original topic and all it takes is someone bigger than me to start doing this on their stream and pay some editor $10 to clip it down and upload to eclipse my humble little channel but something I’ve come to appreciate is I don’t have to worry about algorithms or making this a career. I just have fun and as long as I do the niche will be filled.
I haven’t read hollow ataraxia yet but there’s no way he can be cooler than lancer, he poke things form very far away! jk jk. He’s got an interesting design so I look forward to learning more about him when I do eventually read hollow ataraxia
Fun Fact, magic circuits are a concept that is shared between the melty blood universe and the fate universe. I’m not 100% on this, but I’m pretty sure originally melty blood and fate were supposed to take place in the same universe, but they pivoted away from that and now lumina takes place in its own timeline so who knows.
@@Drzuul Correct! Tsukihime and Fate were originally in the same universe, but with things like FGO and Tsukihime remake, there's now a timeline split.
Wow, I love TM for years and I've never known the existence of doujin Fate fighting games that predate even Unlimited Code and those even looks better and creative than UC. The fans who made these must be very passionate to the VN and skillful in game developing. Thank you for introducing me to a cool niche side of TM fandom. Also can't wait to hear the fan dub the character voice lines, I know it gonna sound cheesy cuz they had to work from the source material without the official voices in early years of Fate.
They do a pretty good job with the voices for a fan game, better than me that’s for sure (although, I do have a killer Roa). I will say that this game definitely has a lot more creativity than unlimited codes. I really think that’s because the fans are so passionate about making something amazing it’s extremely admirable. Thanks for watching and commenting I truly appreciate it.
These indie games look really high quality honestly, I'm really surprised. Keep up the awesome work!! Been loving what you're putting out, obscure fighting games are my favorite rabbit holes
Many more to come! You’d be shocked, some indie games a really, really high quality for no reason. I guess that’s just what you call passion. Thanks for watching. I truly appreciate it.
Not gonna lie but if we actually ever get an official Fate fighting game in this style I would easily pick it up because this look like something I would enjoy!
I really enjoyed this one, I actually was lucky enough to play this game at a local before. Really fun underrated gem, and a killer soundtrack too. I actually played both this and Fate/Unlimited Codes prior to reading F/SN, though I was familiar with Fate through cultural osmosis for a long time. In a weird sorta way fighting games got me into Type Moon in general since the first TM thing I ever consumed was Melty Blood which got me to check out Tsukihime, and the rabbit hole kinda just kept getting deeper from there lol. But yeah sorry for the ramble, good video and I look forward to whatever else you put out. Hope to see more cool obscure stuff covered.
Thanks for the comment. This is a ramble encouraging channel so feel free to in the future. I had a very similar experience to yours. I played multi blood originally back in 2016 at the time I knew nothing about it, but I learned that it was based off a visual novel so I decided to download it fast forward to 2020 and I finally decide to get around to reading it. The only problem is I actually downloaded plus disk instead of the main game so I had to go find that. after that little miss step I read Tsukihime and I’ve been hooked on type moon ever since. Although I think that’s obvious given how I’m doing an entire month dedicated to the company.
was expecting FUC, aka fate unlimited code. Saber also appeared in a crossover fg, nitroplus blasterz, and there was a much lower quality doujin prequel, no one knows exist, nitroplus royale
Shhh we can’t talk about that one just yet (I know of its existence but am contractually obliged to only talk about type moon in June (they will find me) )
@@Drzuul you can let me know if you include nitroplus or talk about whatever examu/team arcana game, if you want me to review, and give inputs, before posting. I am a team arcana specialist, when it comes to learning all those games. saber in nitroplus vs melty would be a good comparison imo. since they play completely different, even if you dont go into how nitro mechancis make everyone play different from melty
Oh definitely any help would be greatly appreciated. I’ve been planning a episode on nitro plus and arcana heart for a while. I don’t know when I’ll make that episode but feel free to add me on discord or steam and we can discuss this further. It’s drzuul on discord and Dr.zuul on steam
I found these hosted on this website as I believe they are abandon ware doujinstyle.com/?p=page&type=2&id=759 you can find all of the fighters I covered on type moon june on here (Except unlimited codes)
hey man, do you have a discord server? i feel like it would be great!, also i know some unknown fighting games that could really fit this series, if you want to know some then i hope we can get in touch :)
I don’t really have that big of an audience so I think a discord server would be silly (and a ghost town).it’s not out of the question, If I do end up getting a lot more traction in the future but for now I just appreciate all the kind comments. I don’t mind at all, My discord is drzuul or you could add me on steam which is Dr.Zuul I encourage suggestions so send them my way. Oh and of course thanks for watching.

Angra mainyu being the worst is simultaneously hilariously accurate and sad because he's one of the coolest characters imo

@Drzuul heh if we ever get a dubbed version of it
this is an ambitious game for sure, love how it keeps magic circuits from melty blood.

This game has convinced me that a fate fighting game has extreme untapped potential
