Only operated little scrapers compared to that girl 627 and 623. Sat in a 633 for a couple of rounds but not going to say I operated her she was a bit of a pig. Good to see the Aussie content Trent. Thanks
The paddlewheel Scraper is very efficient at loading itself so you only need one machine to fill the bowl, it’s a lot better at picking up soft material like sand and leaves a lot need to finish. A paddle with Scraper actually holds more material than an open bowl.
@@pigdogproductions Have U ever tried working in sand ???, Then U will see why U need twin powered elevating scrapers. U need the elevator to load it and 4 wheel drive to move in it, a lot depends on the type of sand as to how it goes for traction, wind blown sand dunes where the sand is very loose would be one situation where twin power would be out on its own.
@@pigdogproductions we work on a lot of soft sand and when we were running at 633, we had a lot of trouble getting bogged so we went to a 639 which does not have any trouble at all.
Cool!! Never saw a twin engine paddle pan before.

This was all I saw as a kid.
Great scrapers,second only to a 657E.
Simplement un 633 bimoteur ! rien de plus rien de moins.
Unicorn!
Love the 639’s same as Mick’s comments 657’s who owns that scraper
I do Jason was a ex Thomas machine I go it from Tony Manchatie
@@ridgwayearthworks2428 cheers mate Thomas does have some quality machines
They were using the 39 model to grade the Santa Ana river for concrete in the late 80 s
So......a paddle is better on even surfaces, is that the idea? Wouldn't you haul more without that paddle mechanism in the bowl?

@@ridgwayearthworks2428 Plus the fact U can get a guaranteed full load every time, there is no excuse not too. They just don't like rocks thats all.
Why the need for a twin engine elevator, ofront wheel drive surely enough, unless it's climbing big hills??
