Thank you. I have been scared to hook up these contractors for a Wi-Fi shutoff for the electric vehicle chargers but now I know how. I do maintenance for an office building I did electrical work for residential before this but never even laid eyes on a contactor. So the neutral goes to A1? I have exactly the same contactor you do from the video the black one.

great video. how do you mount a contactor inside a box? if the box is against concrete, we cant screw it to the back wall of a box. is there a hardware that helps mount this inside a box?

I made a 220 volt stove burner incinerary toilet.Basically I poop in a toilet that falls into a insulated pot I add heat with a stove top burner below it for an hour.I want to install a 60 minute timer that I hooked 120 to the coil and it buzzes. With a cord it clicked but when i put a timer in the mix the contactor buzzes. Why is that. I timer switched the black 115volt AC hot wire. Should I be switching the neutral wire?
