The fall of the fast food industry will actually be very beneficial, more people cooking at home with healthier food and more mom and pop diners with good quality food at good prices will once again be the standard.
I’m more surprised anyone buys the filet o’ fish.
That is one of the food items that their own employees said one should avoid at all costs! lol 😂
That's the one I like the most (besides the Sausage McMuffin) ... Feels healthier than most other options at MCDs. I stopped going 2 years ago when I noticed the price-gouging. I wont ever allow myself to get taken-advantage of (which is also a reason my finances are usually healthy).
Let alone 3 of em at once
5 bucks for a half dollar size fish sandwich. Its laughable
@@mikehelton3007 Cant disagree with you there. I think MANY of us that are over the age of 25 years old cant see the current prices without wincing .... It's WILD how much prices have gone up.
Fillet o fish used to be 88 cents McDonald's going the way of Sears
I haven’t eaten at McDonald’s since 2021 and so glad I don’t eat anything there
I am totally shocked that any parent would allow their child to eat greasy salted and fried fast food junk ! That child could have heart disease before he reached even his sixties and think it was normal ! It is not normal .We don't have a pain nor an ache but we boil our potatoes at home and eat fresh fish cooked for twenty minutes under the grill with very very little sauce ,salt or sugar ..Plenty of delicious chicken ,fruit and vegetables ..Easy guys really ,but thank God we realised that when only in our forties years ago ...
Not just prices rising - quality down - accuracy down - speed down.
My guess is these people are'nt using the app and are ordering at the counter paying for more expensive items like meals which are expensive instead of using the kiosks that show certain deals.
It's one thing to rationalize an unhealthy choice because of low prices. Unhealthy ANNNNDDD
insanely high prices??? Now we have more incentive to do better.
classic case of companies unnecessarily raising prices, while claiming record profits.
Tiny little drink, tiny little fries, and very little food overall. I paid almost 6 dollars for at least two dollars worth of food if that.
You Should see the McDonald’s in Cabo San Lucas Baja California it was Dead☠️… been here For 1-Week and talk to Employees about it .. Dead…🥴
Are you kidding me. I stopped going altogether.
And I'm healthier for it.
Be well...
Here here....
I'd be surprised if I ever eat at McDonalds again. They use to be a hamburger, fry, milkshake place. Now they an over price boutique with low quality food.
I have cut down eating out , with this market being unreliable and also every business is charging 3 times more than what it was used to be then why I should spend my hard earned money on them instead I’ll buy healthy food and eat at home with family
Too late! They got greedy one too many times with their pricing and they forgot just who they are and the quality of their food. I think it's time they feel how it feels to lose money just like all those people they have gouged in the last few years.
McDonald’s could afford to sell everything on the menu for $1 each and still make 300% profit. The problem is it’s not that they want a lot of $. They want to make ALL of the $.
It's basically over for McDonald's. Nobody in my family has eaten there for 5 years already. It's overpriced and we still feel hungry afterwards. Furthermore, the food there isn't healthy for our diet. It's far better to eat elsewhere than McDonald's.
Im not just saying this
Keep it up.
Let’s band together, purge their sales to force them into bringing back a lot of the value deals we knew, loved and grew up on ❤
It’s a sad when u can’t afford unhealthy food at McDonald’s and The dollar store 😢
Outrageous…. Investors and money hungry, mc- BURGLARS 😮
Classic case of corporate FAFO.
Fake news. McDonald's doesnt use a grill.
I stopped going to mcdonalds when they renovated them all too look like dark grey prisons. They took the charm away by removing all the characters. Now its just a cold, unwelcoming sterile place with terrible food. Seriously the only food they sell are pink slime hamburgers and wanna-be chick-fil-a chicken sandwiches. I really can’t believe people still eat there.
Is not the prices only, the food is total crap, and I'm using the word food loosely here.
Only the wealthy can afford McDonald's. I'm middle class and I can't afford to eat there. Haven't been there in months.
i use coupons, that is the only way i can afford it.
then they introduced the 5$ meal and they got rid of most of their digital coupons.
like i would get 30% off my meal with a coupon or buy 1 big mac get another for 50 cents...
Which is funny because wealthy folks prefer expensive Whole Foods
Sweetheart, baby, I hate to break it to you, but if you can't afford McDonald's, then you are NOT middle class. Nice cope though.
You are lower class. Bottom-of-the-barrel class.
In NYC the $5 value meal with the McDouble is $6 now.
Boohoo
Imagine Paying extra dollar
In one of the most expensive state to live in
I stopped in there yesterday. I got a large caramel iced coffee for 99 cents. $1.07 with tax. I ordered it on the app. It was quite good.

Their burgers got smaller and extremely expensive! Real greed, taking advantage and terribly hike up prices for less. I gave up McDonald's....period! My whole family did. See ya! 🤑
