I did regret after getting into mechanical industry instead of SW. But after 23 yrs now earning 8 digit salary per yr worked in 6 countries and no regrets. Experience counts better in other industries than SW.
Not only IT also all other industry also.I worked for 8 yrs they sent me for the above reason nothing discussed about low performance.Employee training just to score in getting awards.Spent my time most for the company spoiling health.
