  • Brendan Kortz creates patterns on his shuffleboard table using shuffleboard sand. The sand helps the puck glide over the table. Where there's more sand, the puck glides faster, and where there's less sand, it slows down. Different patterns create different challenges.

    Same happens in bowling but with oil.. they can vary the patterns laid down with a lane dresser if you see a ball with spin. It only gains traction at a certain point and then curves in

    It’s not actually sand it’s walnut shells ground up… from my good old days of shuffle board
