How Attack On Titan ending ruins the entire show [Animated!]

- The attack on titan season 4 part 3 is on the doorsteps, and by the looks of it Mappa are going to adapt the show's ending to the letter or with limited tweaks given the buildup in the rumbling arc. So while we wait for the Attack on titan final season part 3 trailer, we look back at the aot ending and how garbage it was. So as to look forward to the snk anime's watchers as they rumble their way into inevitable dismay.
Eren yeager death at the end of the show is and his ''I don't want that'' scene about mikasa for 10 years at least will forever live in our memories for the completely wrong reason, as Isayama ruins his great manga with a rushed plot hole filled ending that leaves no one satisfied.
And for good measure we threw in the mikasa kisses eren scene so as to be truthful to the source material plus Eren vs Armin colossal fight scene. But with our parody formula and animation they're actually good scenes this time around.
aot final season is coming to end it all. and for the meantime we are going to aot parody the hell out of the final season for 10 years at least

Yeah the leaf had a meaning only here it represents weed lol, but Zeke appearing so Levi can kill him shouldn’t have been possible for him to do and second if anything Levi is just doing Zeke a favor given Zeke player a role in the world ending indirectly.
Plus at this point Levi killing him accomplishes nothing really and I doubt Erwin would give AF that he didn’t kill him given the man gave up his dream of wanting to stay alive to go see the basement and figure out the origins of titans and humanity.
Also it was pointed out the Zeke being killed shouldn’t have stopped the Rumbling given he being the component for royal blood is no longer needed because Ymir Fritz didn’t have her slave mentality anymore after Eren freed her and she was giving Eren her power without any need for a tether to keep Eren counted.
So plot holes there

The fact that after seeing Annie eat pie, the squad wasn't shocked or anything or on edge (You know, the person who killed countless comrades last time they saw her) but instead Connie starts laughing at how she's eating pie was one of the signs for me that the series was gonna go down a path I didn't really agree with. Idk felt too much like "power of friendship" and "let's have all these characters fight together because it's epic you guys" with no real conflict lingering anymore.
And yeah, Levi in particular was done dirty, him not even ever mentioning how Annie wiped out his closest associates.

But 139 illustrates how when Eren received the founding titan his "head got messed up" and that "ymir was the one controlling everything" so it couldnt have been the founding titan.

So much of what he says about Mikasa is anti em and he seemed to have an entirely different plan for her than what we got. His most recent interview is the strongest proof of this for me where he basically says he feels like Eren where manga has become restrictive to him and if he wanted to write the ending he wanted, he should be allowed to but he couldn't. Too many things were set up with Eren for that ending to even make sense

I really love that they added a line for Armin where he says "We're both going to hell...", very geniously predicting that they get carpet bombed a few centuries later, only furthering the cycle of violence and NOT FIXING THE FUCKING ENDING

The lore and its rules are so unclear and not explored well
The warhammer, the pregnancy, Ackerman and hizuru subplots don't have payoff. Reiner's redemption arc is not finished. Annie and pieck don't have ones at all. Zeke's conclusion is so rushed and forced
Most of the characters are butchered, their motivations, actions and words make no sense, lack of character development. Erwin, gabi, niccolo and floch are the only ones who have pretty satisfying conclusions and arcs
The ending's lessons are terrible: don't defend yourself and your loved ones if someone wants to kill you; no matter how hard you work and try, in the end destiny resolves everything; treat your children like garbage and dgas about their future; feelings of one single person are more important than lives of millions of people; never move on from someone you are obsessed with and so on
So many plotholes and pointless dialogues. Kruger's advice was for nothing, falco seeing memories in s 4 ep 1 was for nothing, those 2 shards with floch and hange from ch 130, the dream from s 1 ep 1... what was that all about?
Eren's interview and inner monologues, Isayama's interviews until 2021 were just a lie all along
Lost girls is now vain as it adds nothing to the story. Aot prequel doesn't matter anymore. Just like chibi show, school caste, akatsuki no requiem, muvluv ripoff. All the deaths don't matter. All the dialogues, songs and flashbacks don't matter. Sacrifices don't freaking matter
Eren is not a fighter, he's a pawn and a simp. Mikasa is not a badly-written character and mary sue, she's the main protagonist and the "solution" to genocide. Ymir is not a victim, she's a tyrant and a true aot villain. Historia is not a relevant heroine as Isayama told us. She just pretended to be a good heroine. Falco is not important as his seiyuu said, he's a plot device. Freedom to eren is not fighting for your life. It's being... dead (i guess)? Ymir, kruger and grisha actually don't care about historia, eldians and the island. They wanted to doom them this whole time

I have heard they cleaned the anime ending so errors and unresolved plots where harder to notice.

I must say, as an anime-only watcher, the ending left me speechless, which is why I decided to look for some answers, thinking that there might be more to it, missed certain details, or maybe it's just me being stupid and unable to understand the complexity of the story, but no! Apparently, that's all there is to it! I have no doubt that this video will blow up in views very soon, as it should. I love the sense of humor, but I'm crying on the inside watching this. I feel like AOT deserved better.
There is more to it. The manga version of the ending had alot less dialogue and explained alot less, the anime ending is alot more fleshed out.
That's why this parody is making fun of the ending, because in the manga is SUCKED.

This is literally what they did in the anime except better animation and beautiful ost but same shitty but realistic ending to a legendary series. 3:08 I feel as though this fan animation did the World War scene a lot better than the manga and even anime. It wasn't just a few years. The destruction of paradise could have happend CENTURYS later. The thing Eren wanted to reach is getting enough time for his comrades so they can live a peaceful life. He managed that.
Peace is temporary. It doesn't matter how strong your country is now (a.e. the USA), someday it will vanish (a.e. Roman Empire, Old Egypt Culture and Language, Babylon, Islamic Golden Age, Ottoman Empire).
But I think discussing about this just doesn't make sense. Some people are just disrespectful and blind.

He purposefully almost got his friends killed multiple times whilst also claiming that he wants to protect them? What? If he had just gone through with the rumbling, he would’ve accomplished all of his goals. Save the island, his friends live long lives AND the curse of the titans no longer exist. Yes, he did realise that, cos it’s pretty obvious, but why does that matter? Eren never believed in it at all. All he did was acknowledge that it makes more sense for Paradis to be destroyed than the rest of the world.

And even if he WAS acting, you’re okay with the fact that Eren Yeager has never had any character development for over 60 chapters? What I’m disappointed about is that Isayama retconned all that development and nuance Eren had and boiled it down to “it was all just an act, I wasted your time for years lol pls buy the final volume”

I know it happens in the manga, but I still wonder why Eren's head was in his Titan's mouth rather than the nape at the end. I imagine it was just to make getting to him easier so Mikasa could kill him and then kiss his severed head, but that just seems like even more bad writing to add to how terrible the ending already is.
Also the heat that colossal titans are supposed to emit suddenly doesn't become an issue when Mikasa enters the eren colossal's mouth
@@revvin7624 That's a good point too. The whole thing just feels pointless at the end, and I know some people will try to say that "Eren lost on purpose to make his friends heroes". But there are ways to go about that without making the story become a parody of itself.

@@ColonelCorson If Eren was pretending to fight his friends, why did he let Hange die when he could control his colossals? Plus the final fight is lame enough, titans pretending to attack the allinace would remove all weight and impact of every thing about that fight. It's a clown festival either way
