  • Attack on Titan anime ending is a finger tip away! Finally 2.5 years after the manga ending, Attack on Titan Season 4 part 4 is almost here and with it the end of Eren's story, the ending of attack on titan anime series!
    To celebrate the final episode of aot, we made a special episode for World War 2 with titans, snk has held a special place ever since Isayama released the first chapters, and now it has took the entire world in a rumbling.
    Let's enjoy this moment while we say goodbye to shingeki no kyojin, a juggernaut that has been compared to Game of Thrones in more ways than one, and by enjoy I mean by a lot of my Revvin crack to flavour Mappa's animation!
    All music in the video, aside from the intro which is a reversed cover by Samuel kim, is made by me.
    Most gunfire effects are from Battlefield V
    Hope you enjoyed!

    This is scary for how it is accurate to a realistic depiction of WW2 with Titans. It is insane to think that in such a scenario nuclear weapons would also be developed around the idea of replicating what the colossal can do. @@AmericaChavez710 Not necessarily. They are only obsolete in a sense that enemy has a lot easier ways killing them directly, but you overstate how difficult hitting the nape would be in real life. WW2 anti tank cannons were accurate, but in combat, even Flak 88s had to shoot 10 shells per tank on average. Titan nape is 0.1 m^2, 200 times smaller than a tank, 19 times smaller than a human. It is also 14 meters up, on a fast, unpredictable titan. Shooting that in combat scenario would be a pain. Titans would be an effective distraction- have a large portion of enemy firepower focus on them while your forces are relieved of pressure and get an opportunity to advance. The enemy artillery would also be open to counter-battery.
      Air-dropping loads of titans on enemy positions like that would be extremely effective and demoralizing every time, sometimes even better than bombs. Infantry is useless and can only hide. Tanks can kill them, but require a lot of shots due to napes being small, and can get overwhelmed quickly due to how fast titans are. Artillery and airforce are distracted and now must focus on titans to save their own troops, which will take a long time.
      And they would be even more effective in Vietnam because of the jungle. Imagine if US patrols in the thick jungle were ambushed by a few titans the Vietcong placed to turn in advance. The infantry can't do anything and whole force gets wiped out, as can armored vehicles if they are ambushed close. The chances of hitting the nape with an anti-tank weapon in a shock like that are very low.

      @@AmericaChavez710 that has been explained though, the only weak point of a titan is their nape nothing else because the titans don't even have real organs. If you don't remember/know the real human body resides in the nape which is why the titan also dies when the nape is cut or destroyed. A titan is literally a biological mech that repairs itself in that sense where the pilot is just part of the mech itself, and unless you are a titan shifter you have no real control over your actions as a titan either. That's why you destroy the nape, where the literal pilot/real human body is, not the titan itself. Cause if it was that easy humanity would not struggle that much and titans would literaly just be completely obsolete in war.

    Honestly this was what we should have gotten instead of the Fumbling arc. A story of Eren leading a movement to restore Eldia would have been far more interesting than the contrived world genocide storyline we got. The outside world was reduced to being cartoonishly evil, and the story was railroaded so that the Rumbling was the only path forwards. Paradis honestly should have been able to ally with other nations, who should have jumped at the chance of taking down Marley.

      @@revvin7624 What is harder, 2d or 3d?
      I have 0 experience in animation xD

    • @revvin7624
      @revvin7624  7 місяців тому +2

      @@Lumigle Well, in 2d you have to draw each character frame by hand, while in 3d you only have to design the character once and you can use it multiple times.
      Studio Wit mostly animated titans in 2d and it was amazing because you felt the emotion and fluidness of the art, while MAPPA used 3d mostly. They have some of the best 3d in Anime but it sometimes look rigid and kinda out of place at times.
      So In general 2d is more difficult because it requires a lot of frames. What I made for this video is kinda like 2.5d cause I drew the models from multiple sides and animated the camera movement accordingly, instead of drawing like 70 frames for each shot. Still was a pain in the ass tho🤣🤣

    I don’t think people understand the work, time and talent it takes to create scenes that well storyboarded, with that much movement and that much cinematography masterclass even with a sketchy style like this.

    Awesome video. This is what is originally expected in war against Marley, too bad Isayama rushed it to the Rumbling.
    Now, even though the anime claims titans would become obsolete in WW1, that is not entirely true. This statement is only correct in a sense that the enemy now has more reliable ways of killing titans, but they would still be extremely effective if used properly. People overlook how difficult hitting the nape would be in real life. WW2 anti tank cannons were accurate, but in combat, even Flak 88s had to shoot 10 shells per tank kill on average. Titan nape is just 0.1 m^2, 200 times smaller than a tank, 19 times smaller than a human. It is also 14 meters up, on a fast, unpredictable titan. Shooting that in combat scenario would be a pain. Titans would be an effective distraction- force a large portion of enemy firepower focus on them while your forces are relieved of pressure and get an opportunity to advance. The enemy artillery would also be open to counter-battery. Titans are also very resistant to overpressure and shrapnel, so even heavy artillery would still require direct hits to the nape, and the effective blast radius of explosives would be severely reduced.

    • @revvin7624
      @revvin7624  7 місяців тому

      Yeah they would still be effective even for psychological intimidation at least
