My Aunt Had to go for Reghmogoneous Retinal Detachment Surgery. But she didn't get complete vision. They put the Silicon Oil. So How much time it will take time get vision Improve??

Hi ma'am i have high myopia -10sph and -1 cyl and v/a 6/12 Im 27 and I get complete eye check up every 6 months. Does regular visit give any clue of retinal detachment or detachment happen very quickly after symptoms?

@@NarayanaNethralayaEyeHospital yeah I get complete eye examination including retina every 6 month but wanted to know if retina detachment happens instantly or takes time. Also is exercising safe with high myopia? Many suggest not to do any exercise which stresses eyes due to high chance of retina detachment :/
