I agree, that’s why i like his music over most fingerstyle artists. Techniques are used only if they add to the song, not to show off

This song is so much more intricate than it sounds. Great songwriting. Perfect flow, lots of 16th notes packed into one song but it all works.
16th notes are super popular these days. i think artists are getting better & better at using them tastefully consequently
