Thank you for your detailed review. I recently learned that my current tracker, Amazon Halo, won’t be supported much longer so I’ve been binge-watching reviews for non-watch trackers. Whoop consistently gets great reviews but yours is the most thorough & helpful of all I’ve watched.
Just ordered a whoop after a lot of contemplation. I have had several fitbits and the pre market edition of the amazon echo. Your video on mental health benefits of whoop sold me, so thank you. When I don’t workout, I start slipping and fall into a dark place. I need the data to keep me accountable. Looking forward to the stress monitoring and content from Dr Huberman.
I try to value sleep, sometimes I only get 4 to 5 hours. On weekends I hit 6. But even on the days I get poor sleep sometimes I hit the green and some days I hit the yellow. Regardless whoop has helped me start to prioritize sleep a lot more, granted I’m doing the month free trial. I look at it as as long as I’m making the effort to try to hit 6 hours every night then I’m doing what I can. Love this video btw!!
I am ordering it and doing a month trial. This tech sounds promising and is the future when AI is part of it. I am sure companies like Google or Amazon will pick it up by then. The sweet spot of pricing is $10 a month for the masses.
I understand the benefit of having the whoop teach you how to change habits. But I mean how long do you need to use a whoop to learn the good habits vs the bad? I feel Like after 6 months, one year tops, the whoops value would run it’s course. What is the whoop still teaching you after 2 years to make it worth it?
I'd say that despite being as routine as possible, there's still a number of changes and factors that influence health that I want to pay attention to. I also am constantly evaluating my workouts and how my body is responding to see how I can push it more, or what adjustments i need to make outside of physical exercise that can effect my performance/recovery (e.g., sleep, nutrition). There's also other things that I love seeing data for, like vacations. For example, I really enjoyed getting off of my diet, but I was more aware of it's effect on my body over the course of a week. Just depends on your goals. If you're changing nothing day to day, then I'm sure you'd be fine. For me, I'm constantly mixing things up, and am always learning how my body is reacting. Especially as I inch ever closer to that age 35 when typically, men's testosterone begins to take a dip.

For a long video like this, that would be great to have time stamps
YT has an algo that does that automatically, but it seems to not always be guaranteed. Something I can try and work on! Appreciate the feedback.

great videos on whoop!!!
Which one do you prefer between Oura and Whoop? Which one is nicest to wear? I'm torn between both but leaning more toward the whoop.
Check my channel for the Oura videos. Best to see my experience and make your own decision
Awesome review thanks!
I have been wanting whoop for a long time, almost bought one on Black Friday but I’ll be deploying to Europe for a year so probably would be a waste
Awesome review & so sorry about your father :)

This aged well. Whoop X OpenAI has just been announced
Nice video! Speed master?
Yup, my pride and joy.
Is it still taking months to ship or has that died down?
Bought mine last Tuesday and I received it within a week.
@@dustypatten same. I got mine by tuesday.
Does it pick up naps automatically?
Sure does
Sadly it picks up a lot of false naps too which customer service calls “restful wakefulness.” lol
