Fox - S-S-Single Bed [1976]

A pre-Year Zero favourite for me. I only had their first album, but I did get this later single too.
A British band led by an American producer and songwriter, Kenny Young (he wrote 'Under the Boardwalk' for The Drifters) and fronted by Australian singer Susan Traynor, going under the name of Noosha Fox. With her 1920's dress sense and unique vocal style, they certainly stood out when they arrived in 1975.
Trivia: Noosha is the mother of science writer Ben Goldacre.

Loved that song (and artist) ever since first seeing and hearing in '76(?). Totally unique, and great (..not so..) ambiguous song lyrics that made us wonder if we were hearing correctly back in the day, which we were of course! Super quality video and sound - thank you for uploading this. ❤

The late Kenny Young also in Fox was the main man in Yellow Dog!
