Crown Zenith is the most underrated set of the past few years
Everyone just moves on so quickly, when something isn't the current chase. It's going to come back around. I really think this is the set in 5-10 years people are paying people on whatnot to have ripped for big bucks.

This was to be expected, especially after the holiday reprint they had. There were completely unexpected products released in that reprint, too, like the Walmart Black Friday Pikachu box and their booster bundles. I think it's a good thing, tho. It's an awesome set and it should be readily available at regular price for people to rip years after release day. One of the things I didn't like when I first started collecting was how expensive certain packs were even tho they had only been released a year or so prior to my starting.
Was that during the pandemic boost or another time? I've never bought anything sealed above msrp, I would rather just live vicariously watching others rip if prices were that bad; and only buy singles.

The only set I ever mastered. I still think it'll be looked back on with awe in 5/10 years. Prices will reflect that.
I love Crown Zenith! My favorite set for sword and shield. 👍🙂 I opened and bought singles along the way. Missing only 2 cards to finish the set (Gold Giratina and Arceus 😂). I just picked up the Lugia box from GameStop today . 😂
Nice! Giratina is the big dog I still need. I picked up dialga from a card shop today along with some other singles. The 20 lugia box is a great pick up, made even better when a Pro member. Good luck on the pulls!
More crown zenith isn't a bad thing. The crazy thing about pokemon cards is how hard it is to get sets after such a short time. I've learned to pick up a bunch extra right at release when prices are lowest. Crown zenith is such a fun set to open so while singles aren't terrible to buy, the set shines when you talk about ripping packs.
finished my gg set recently with giratina, have multiple copies of others especially yellow borders that didnt pass QC. takes a lot of effort to put together a pristine set for the true collectors. even cracking slabs that i was lucky to pick up.
ud be lucky to get a cheap set without scratches, whitening and bad centering
I'm pretty particular myself. I especially can't stand bad centering. If I pull something and there's a tiny dot on the back, I'm OK with putting it in the binder, but if I'm at a store buying singles, I want perfection.
3 funnest sets to open are 151, paldean fates and crown zenith. At least in the last year those are the funnest ones I think.
All great sets and fun to open! I don't get all the paldean fates hate, but whatever. It's got baby shinys and SIR's to chase, and how many sets have 3 SIR's of top notch pokemon to chase.

Thanks for the feedback. I mention that its mostly readily available on pokemon center, and in looking at product elsewhere, it all seems stagnant; msrp or less for the most part. What are you seeing and thinking?

as a collector of art cards, and a new pokemon card collector in general, the lower the price the better, easier to acquire for me, i don't intend on colleting pokemon cards just go make profits, i collect them because it is fun and i appreciate the artwork. no scalper here.

Im 6 cards away from completing crown zenith, 3 golds, 1 holo, 1 v and 1 vstar. Hopeful its not going to be too expensive
I have had it master set done and really for sure was tanked with the reprints and surprise lugia and new pickachu box and the etb reprint.
Mareep is popular in Miraidon, I believe.
Thanks, I thought it might be, but wasn't sure and it really hasn't changed much, it's a really cheap card, but that must be keeping it at its price.
You mention Giratina vStar YET you didn’t look at Daily sales MOST IMPORTANT aspect, and users are buying that card 2 or more each day from I saw … looks like 80% of the sellers don’t care and keep the price higher … sitting at a higher price as a non desperate is different than someone who has to flip to stay afloat…just saying.

They're selling on ebay too, a couple went today for $60 and sub $60 last week and lowest buy it now is $65. Between the two platforms theres around 300 available today. Would be interesting to know how many get posted daily compared to selling daily. I believe we're on the same page in thinking this is a great card and I have no issue picking one up at this $60 price. Could go lower though, have to watch that stock count and daily sales, like you said.

Pokemon cards are the biggest rip off in existence. People hate them. The bubble has burst and won’t be going up again for a long long long time, when we all forget how stupid they are.
CZ is a value trap. Too many people have opened it already and single prices are so low. Don’t think it’s going to outpace other sets anytime soon.

Reprint reprint reprint lol y'all are too much asking for reprints of every set. That's what makes Ultra Prism so desirable and other sets from back in the day. Can't tell you how quick Ultra Prism was out of stores. True fans got to the store and got the cards WHEN THEY WERE AVAILABLE
I could see a 6 month print cycle, then move on; but it seems to go on forever. I wouldn't want cards to rare and expensive while they're still playable in the tcg though. Need to balance things.

i remember when everyone was saying this set is ze shit, i was like... there is litereally nothing good in it, nice cope guys, prices telling me i was right, just like paldean fates, literally the same dog shit as shining fates but someone everyone trying to hype it its hilarous.
Gotta go with what you love. If there's nothing in this set for you, ya, it's shit. I think it's a great set, full of cards I love. The whole market is down, and most sets look like this, 50% cuts since release on average.
I hope all Pokemon cards crash. It’s probably one of the stupidest hobbies to get into. I recommend actual gambling over collecting these stupid cards.
