Is e-commerce the future of Pinterest? I don't think that's why people use it. It's great to promote your shop, but shopping is not why people go to Pinterest. Looking for inspirations and ideas, like recipes and home decor and lifestyle inspirations. Pinterest needs to be careful not to alienate users and focusing on e-commerce I think is something that would do that.
Thanks for the comment, Katarina! With the change in leadership & new features, it does look like ecomm is in their long-term plans (similar to the "shopping" feature on IG). I guess only time will tell ⏳😉 - L
I had no clue about the evolution of Pinterest - so interesting to learn. This now makes a lot of sense & explains the traction I have achieved on Pinterest.
I get most of my website traffic from Pinterest, always have. I've gone through the ups and downs with their changes. I however, never get any sales from Pinterest. Never have. People come for my blog tutorials, organically. 😀 I'm curious how to make my shop more e-commerce friendly.

I’m afraid I don’t agree. I use Pinterest on a regular basis, including re pinning the same pin to different relevant boards. I still get a lot of new followers and sales from promoting a pin on my business account. I’ve never had a problem with Pinterest and I’m sorry if others are. Best wishes to all - Dawn 🌅
Thank you! So with all the changes, what do you think we should be doing as our Pinterest strategy now? Still creating fresh pins and posting less than 25 pins per day? Or just what we can handle since there's still more changes coming down the pipeline?
Thanks for the comment, Anais! We released all the _new_ updates to our Pinterest Mastery course that will teach you exactly what to do moving forward. You can check it out here ➡️ www.hq.tizzit.co/pinterest-marketing-for-handmade-shops/ 😆 - L
I had a feeling that Pinterest was starting his slow death. Something wasn't right. And I began to have doubts is it worth creating new pins over and over again, and pinning only a few pins per day when you have lots of products in your Etsy shop :D
Thanks for the comment, Agneta! Not every platforms will work for every person/business, so just focus on spending time on doing what's best for your Etsy shop ☺️ - L

Here’s the deal: I’ve seen some people say Pinterest brings them a ton of traffic and I hear people say Pinterest is a waste. It all comes down to several reasons for this - #1. Your Niche (some niches do exceptionally well on Pinterest and others don’t). #2. If your not creating ANY idea pins, your f*cked. Pinterest at this time is rewarding users utilizing and making idea pins 🤷🏼♀️ 3. Pinterest is now rewarding pinners to pin LESS pins per day. #4. This is a no brainer, but not utilizing SEO strategies with your pins and boards, and this common sense. #5. Not being CONSISTENT everyday. #6. Not utilizing Pinterest trends and seeing WHAT people are actually searching for and looking to buy. Pinterest is now catering this feature which will help content creators and shop owners to look at the search results data. If you look up Nadalie Bardo here on UA-cam, she is a Pinterest strategist and expert, and I’ve taken her course, she’s awesome. She just recently did a video on 12 reasons why Pinterest isn’t working for you, I’d recommend people to go watch that as well. It never hearts to watch different Pinterest experts to get help and insight from everyone 🙂
Thanks for the comment, Mara! We discuss these points & more in one of our most recent videos on Pinterest, which you can find here ➡️ ua-cam.com/video/wM9UUmkkUzU/v-deo.html ☺️ - L
Hope you enjoyed the video! Will you still be using Pinterest to market your shop?

Great insights. Many content makers seem to be promoting pinterest, especially for hand made makers
There's certainly a lot of potential, and still more to come yet! 😆 - L
I really love Pinterest, but it has a lot of bugs that irritate me. It's sad because I really appreciate this app.
Bugs are annoying for everybody! Hopefully they get fixed soon 🤞 thanks for sharing! - Lindsey @ Team Tizzit
Each time companies went public it's a total mess for the small businesses which depend on them, so sad.
Thanks for sharing, Fernanda! Platform changes will always have a few speed bumps. We just hope they're heading in the right direction 😉 - L

They need to hurry it up. Pinterest drives nothing to my website currently
Pinterest is not A waste. It is waste.
