- This video features highlights from an independent study experiment at the Manhattan School of Music. This experiment was conducted through a series of five private Alexander Technique lessons with Professor Barbara McCrane in which we explored the learning process of standard repertoire (Fantasie for Flute and Piano by Georges Hue) and worked through common pitfalls and obstacles to learn how to practice repertoire more positively and productively. The goal of this experiment was not perfection, rather to learn the Hue Fantasie in a positive and productive manner through the incorporation of the Alexander Technique.
