Exploring East Central Ave. Albuquerque. A popular Country Western Dancing Bar has been replaced. Exploring the "War Zone" which is now called the International District. Walking and Riding around the area. We take a look at Microsoft's birthplace!
Good job bud, I grew up here in Albuquerque and let me tell you it has gotten bad, it's sad how bad central is now with all the homeless and druggies. And the crime is really bad now. The late 80's were great times.

Played music at Caravan East many times in the 70's with various Nashville n Grand Ole Opry shows.The house band was phenomenal.Wayne Gailey n Nestor Eaton were 2 of the 4 member band that played there for years

You should do a video walking through the flea market if it is still ongoing. It's not what it used to be... now all filled with wholesale sellers, but, maybe you can find some "real" people selling real stuff and find something interesting...

Scary area always felt safer in Rio Rancho. But every city has it’s good and not so good areas. The library however looked very nice. Stay safe!

Here's my video I made of Barelas. It was a pleasant walk through. I wouldn't walk the full east central.
The "Vietnamese" shop there at 7:37 is Talin "Multi" - International market... so there's just about everything From several different countries. Been there several times... but their shelves are often empty... and the last time a few years ago was a waste of time. I usually go for Indian stuff... but there's a better place down the road. Talin used to be almost like Whole Foods. :/

Last time i drove by there was a chick twerking in the road with her feet up on the sidewalk
