I know most of this is above my pay grade, but it’s still fascinating to listen to it, BECAUSE, it’s shows that Christianity or the believing community are NOT the ignoramuses that are labeled by the secular community. As a matter of (Divine) fact, people like Missler and Satterfield have more to offer in the sciences and tech field because they’re being exposed to things that only God can reveal. Give me a teacher or professor who’s a believer and I’ll give you a student who will excel in his or hers studies!
I can't wait to see the working model that makes accurate predictions based on Christian scientists. The kind that can only be explained by God and not through any natural processes. This is the crucial missing component apologetics has been missing since, well, forever.

What a great presentation by Mr. Setterfield-- he put it in terms I could at least follow. It makes me want to learn SED physics and research zero point energy more so I can share with my friends and family that cling to evolution.
And the lies are still being taught purposefully. If they know it's not true and teach it as truth, you have to look for their purposes and reasons. Not hard to figure it out.
Chuck was a very intelligent person and a great teacher. He was able to explain very complex things in a way almost anyone could understand. Sure do miss him. So thankful for his teachings are still on UA-cam.
Mr. Setterfield is a good teacher too! Very able to break down complicated information to a simple and easy to understand presentation.

The fostering of ignorance is evident and repeated throughout history, and seems to remain a constant tactic that is still used today.
“Trust the science”, or “Science by consensus” are modern examples; both phrases being blatant and inherently incongruous.

No one has ever proven that gravity can act on the emptiness of space .. This is theoretical and without physical proves .. The ether however can be acted upon .. Emptiness cannot ..
Not only is Barry Setterfield a brilliant man, but I met him in the early 80's in Adelaide Australia as a young Christian convert and he was a great mentor and a beautiful Godly man. Barry encouraged me and others in the scriptures to follow the Lord Jesus Christ. I'm still doing that and I am very grateful to Barry for that time in my life. Thank you Chuck for this interview.

Back in the mid90’s when NO one had heard of any variation in c, I was sharing Dr. Satterfield’s views with colleagues who also had their doctorates in sciences. They wanted to make me out to be crazy, besmirch sources (especially since everyone knower I was an evangelical). I had done my homework and gave all reason to think about a literal Genesis cosmology, reasons to doubt biogenesis and geologic epochs.... Pray for the highly educated, God fearing believers in the big science research buildings-we are definitely in there!

Well, it was a bit over my head technically as I have never studied quantum or plasma physics ;) but it did make some sense. I have spent most of my life thinking there may be a God until about 5 years ago when my life changed. I now take the Bible literally and time after time the jigsaw puzzle eventually gets another piece to fit even though incomplete or psuedo science tries its best to take the pieces away.

After you read the bible through 3 times or more, the concept of our reality becomes more clear, it's the only book in existence that gives a person the advice to deal with the unpredictable, and through the past to understand the future more clearly, it's like learning the tricks of the TRADE for a better life. And HELPS a person to be able to tell what other people are going to do to you, the same kind of people are on EARTH now as has always been. Its just a different time in HISTORY.

Dr Hovind mentioned the speed of light is not a constant, it was proven it can be slowed, so it is possible to manipulate that means it can speed up and is not a constant.

It is wonderful to not be so darn smart in this world - like a 5 year old, I see all of this in my mind and it confirms what I have visualized from other times when I have been listening to others talk, or I have read of such magnificent things. So, the first question I have - if everything is digital, how does it all fit together? It would seem to me that it would take the existence of the entire cosmos changing as time slows down, to keep the Earth in perfect balance in all the ways that exist. Even if it all turns out to be a hologram of some fantastic sort, well then it would make even more sense because The Lord is the Creator and the One that made it all in this way that changes predictably. Wow. I can barely wait to be with Him when when I can ask Him how Creation works.

It would be if he were strictly trained in Biblical matters. He graduated from U.S. Naval Academy in engineering, in which physics plays a, or even _the,_ major component. That said, to be honest he would really be serving the cause of truth better if he spent more time questioning Barry's often bizarre claims, premises, and arguments.

That is a different matter. If Missler is not a scientific layman, he should indeed engage the scientific controversies Setterfield brings up. Even if Setterfield is right, the average Missler congregant is not going to know how strange Setterfield's claims sound.
I am not a scientist at all but I am intrigued by the declining-C argument and evidence and the idea that the true fixed value is the product of C and the Planck force (or whatever it is called).

I am thinking the ZPE is still in play during the 1000 year reign of Christ but somehow different. It is hard to wrap my head around the dust, that was a man, from thousands of years ago, instantly coming together into an incorruptable form and the complete soul put back in seamlessly. So that they think they were just awoken from a dream. And this happening to a billion believers gone on before and including those alive in Christ-in the twinkling of an eye. Our God is increadable! Outstanding information here and I must say it has blown my mind, this explains why out perception of time is warped the further back in time we look, making it seem to be millions of years when in fact it is not, it also explains why the larger creatures of the past have died off.

Very informative talk...i'm not an advanced scientist but even i know how big this new info is...like i tell my evolutionist friends...if you can't tell me where it all comes from,then you don't have much to tell me...ZPE clearly means intelligent design aka God/Jesus...someone had to figure out the zero point on which everything stands...meaning,no randomness like some like to believe.

Well my brain just exploded, but this was fascinating to listen to.
I rarely comment on other’s videos. But in this case I felt compelled to do so. About 7 years ago I saw this Issachar Insight video of a discussion between Chuck Missler and Barry Setterfield regarding Setterfield’s physics. Please don’t interpret the following as being critical of a Christian brother, but of his theory only. PLEASE LET the READERS read MY COMMENTS WITHOUT DELETION.
I know Mr Setterfield is a biblical creationist and he has developed his own ideas on various aspects of alternative physics to promote, in his mind, that the speed of light (c) was much faster back at Creation than it is now. The speed of light, c, allegedly slowed down to its current value, from the Creation to the present time, by a factor of something like 10 million times. This is referred to as c-decay or cdk.
His idea I once found very exciting as a potential solution to the biblical creationist starlight travel-time problem. That was about 1980 and since then we have learned that basic experimental physics in the cosmos undermines it. The resent detection of gravitational radiation from the merger of a black hole binary further strengthens the case against it. (Barry and I exchanged views on that at the time via the Journal of Creation.)
I'm really not a believer in the SED model, but I am riveted by the ZPE models.
Prior to this, I was only slightly aware of zero point energy. Now I have a much better grasp of it, as well as its significance. Wow. Also, I had my doubts about the red shift being due to Doppler effect. Now it makes far more sense. Thank you for sharing this information.

It just blew a huge hole in the evolution concept as one of the impacts of this information with the simple idea that in the past larger animals were much more efficient within their scale than the same animal is today. Thus we are not evolving into a better more efficient organism, instead we are growing more inefficient and actually slowing down or becoming less efficient. That is just one area of our environment that is impacted with this truth. to@ Isaiah 55:6, this is what this information means... Not to mention it backs up What the Bible says about how long it took Abba Father to create all that He created. If I am understanding the information correctly.

I tried to contact Koinonia House with important new proven research and they just said they had no interest in looking at it. Even assuming that the speed of light is not slowing down. Carbon dating is really only good for dates less that 10,000 years. 100,000 is the extreme limit. Never believe anyone that says that carbon dating proves ancient age.
