I'm 63 yrs old and I've seen some pretty nifty guitar players in my time, John McLaughlin, Robin Trower Robert Fripp, Peter Green but I've never heard anyone play like this woman and her fantastic band. My hat is off and my mind is blown, thank you a million times for your practice and your extraordinary performance! thank you!
lol...two hour concert in high heels! Way to go :-D XoX poor feet ... Great music (...but hate the drop-outs in the recording). Lots of unison harmolodics and trippy free jazz excursions. Very diverse, packed with references and groovy hard-to-box music. Love it! Came here from Duna Jam. Im a new fan !
+Free Information Yeah. I especially love what she does there with the bow at the beginning. The sounds she's pulling out of that guitar affect me on sort of a primal level. It's sounds like that, that made me start to *need* to get a guitar over 30 years ago. Funny how something that sounds sort of like some 60's/70's-ish bluesy hard rock plus seemingly aimless meandering jazzy grooves, interspersed with occasional cascades of overdrive and distortion screaming out some howl that seems to combine something along the lines of a trumpetting elephant, tubular bells, a whale's song, and I dunno, maybe a chainsaw on glass, can end up sounding so much like "home". Oh, and god, she just kicked on a wah wah peddle... I'm gonna stop typing, turn off the monitor lay down, close my eyes, relax, and just listen for a while. Don't remember the last time I just wanted to lay down in the dark and just *listen* to some music. It's nice.

I’m with you. In a word: awesome
I go down the rabbit hole with their music every few weeks. They are a musical rarity. 🔥
This is one of the most exciting musical discoveries I've ever made!
Hedvig er dyktig, fantastisk å høre på. Ellen er bare sinnsyk på bass. Ivar er konge på trommer.

Are the concert recordings available somewhere else? And with a set-list of sorts? Does anybody know?
The song from 17:00 onwards is incredible.

Is she playing Hocus-Pokus by Focus in the beginning?
It is their own song "Laughing John".
Standard rock double string picking over a simple rumbling bass and sweeping drums ..... recognized and commonly used thru-out the genre ...
