I love curved display, it gives a better screen to body ratio, cameras are more or less the same, and OnePlus improves it with OTA updates. then the 90hz is the sweet spot b/w smooth experience and good battery life,, and also after watching some videos on super fast charging, I'll say 30 watt fast charging is a again a sweet spot between charge time and longevity of the battery health over the years. So I think oneplus 8 is also a all round great and even safer choice

Not supporting the 8 here but just so most of you know, almost all tech UA-camrs criticize the curved display because of accidental touches but remember they don't use any phone with a case whereas most average consumers like you and me use our phones with a case. Using a curved display with a case takes away more than 80% of the accidental touches. So keep that in mind and don't get swayed by that one reason.

Curved display have some cons is well. Practically it is not secure. Lot of chances to getting damaged. But look and feel is awesome. So think twice before making a decision...👍🏽
For 1000 (HDFC offer) less you're getting a curved display but you're losing out on 65w, 120hz, and a newer phone (depreciation will be lesser comparatively).

In dark room with no lights and then 8T in dark mode with zero brightness, go to the settings and then in display setting then scroll up and down see if u can see something like purple clr effect
This 120hz refresh rate will hamper the battery performance in abt 6 mnths time and the only option will be to switch back to 60 hz and these 65w fast charging will also affect the battery on the long run so how is that an advantage over 1+8? Atleast 90hz and 30w is more battery friendly. Very poor review because as a "reviewer" u sud highlite these points.

But if compared to 8 gb variant op 8 is expensive than 8t and storage speed is faster in 8t and touch sampling rate too battery is divided in two parts so 60 watt power doesnt do damage as other are saying and i am a gamer and i dont lile curved screen for gaming and plus one year more update than 8.
