INCRA JessEm Mast-R-Lift II: test with router AEG MF1400KE and Incra LS Positioner
The last cut was with the raised panel bit (26mm Beech ) The total cutting depth is 16mm, so I decided on 3 passes of 5mm each. First, I sighted the bit flush with the table top, then lowered it 10mm ( about 6 full turns ) for my first cut. This went very well, a smooth cut that would not require sanding. Then, I raised the bit 3 full turns and the next cut. Not so smooth, so I next went for a 1mm final cut or ½ turns + 4 increments. The result was a perfectly even and smooth cut.
