I believe it says more about the population of this country, my best example is Elizabeth Warren, at one time a common sense advocate, that has since lost her mind and now only speaks to some idiotic stupor. Gaetz and the eight stood to get rid of McCarthy for following the age-old path of kicking the can down the road, it would be great to see more stand for fiscal responsibility, but I don't count on it, in this entitlement age. Hard thing to keep in mind is that these are politicians, supposedly voters sent them to Washington and this is a big, diverse country that has collectively backed Nazi's and these mask, jab mandates along with BLM/ANTIFA, not a lot of intelligence left in this country.

I swear this sounds like the governmental version of the argument I have with my partner where she tries to tell me how much money she saved by buying some thing that was marked 50% off on a luxury item and I try to explain that she saved nothing she spent money on a non essential item. Single item spending bills will be the best possible process for appropriations because all the tax payers who pay for those expenditures will be able to see exactly what they are funding without reading thousands of pages of bills that even our congress does not read.

There have been studies which prove that the Government can only collect so much before they no longer increase their inlays. More taxes = less opportunity = less revenue to tax = less overall inlays. The cycle will continue as long as the Government continues to increase taxes to offset their losses from lost inlays.

I do appreciate the issues mr. roy brings up and I appreciate what the Democrat representative brings up re: the lack of equality in our tax code i.e. many uber wealthy use dividends as income, which are not taxed, and corporations are allowed to pay 0 in taxes due to tax loopholes. vibrant discussion is important. It is interesting that this discussion was not held during the trump administration when republicans agreed with the overspending and continued increase in the National debt. now they want to step up and address the budget issue, sigh.

Our government has gotten comfortable. Their fathers and their fathers farther’s grew up in the Whitehouse. It’s a family thing. All in who you know. Every year they are in the Whitehouse they get richer and fit her. Taxpayers work hard jobs and keep paying taxes and work until we die.
