This is the second playthrough from our A Quiet World Studio sessions at Klangschmiede Studios.
Here we decided other than the usual playthroughs per instrument to simply tape what it looks like when we actually rehearse the songs as a band.
The video was recorded in in one take and then simply edited together.
We shot the video with Nikon D810, D800 and Fuji XT Cameras and various lenses.

I'm constantly surprised with how you managed to get a heavy but tame sound, it's like you have full control over how you wanted this song to sound, an intelligent approach instead of just blaring all instruments at the same time. Production is a huge part of this, but your arrangement was also used to the fullest. Congrats!
Thanks mate, usually we write in the chamber rather in the rehearsal room which is why we have enough time to refine everything. Tristan did a great job, but it certainly did take him some time writing this. As they say "Gut Ding Will Weile haben" - "Good things need some time"

One of the best songs I ever listened and I say that after I just finished listening the new Meshuggah album (2022 for future reference).
Konstantin is now my english teacher and he is pretty much the best teacher on our school :D. The song is really good too ^^

Diesen Song finde ich absolut großartig. Dark Tranquillity, In Flames, Soilwork usw. haben damals spitzenmäßige Dinger entwickelt, aber dieser Song steht genauso für sich. Hut ab, go for it...

hat lange gedauert bis zum nächsten Mal, aber hier bin ich...immer noch ein gloreicher Melodic Death Song! Macht die Jungs groß, die können was, wenn sie wollen!
Mit Kind werden die Musikabende immer seltener, aber jetzt bin ich wieder hier gelandet. Ein Melodic-Death-Metal-Meisterwerk! Nochmal vielen Dank dafür, dass ihr diesen Song auf die Welt losgelassen habt!
Ich vermisse Leo's neon Ständerbeleuchtung, ein akustisches Gitarrensolo und den Cantina Band rag... Aber der zweistimmige Gesang macht das locker wett, saugeil!

@@WordsOfFarewell A somewhat more straightforward sound, but artistically as intellectual as ever. In it I sense an underlying theme of and commentary against transhumanism, but could be an incorrect interpretation. Correct me if wrong. Either way, I dig it.
@@satelliteepitaph6220 The song's lyrics are actually more a study of the altruism vs. egoism paradigm and how human interaction is governed by certain egotistical behavioral pattern which are intrinsically if not genetically motivated. I have to say that I read quite some Dawkins when I wrote that. ~Alex

Can second their official reply on that. Their albums have been on spotify for awhile. Have also been my go-to music for focusing and getting work done, it's got a damn good drive to it.
Who are some of your influences? This sounds very prog.
I think that depends on which member of the band you're asking. We all pretty much listen to different kinds of music, so the variety goes all the way from bands like Thy Art Is Murder or Vader to Sigur Ros or Pendulum. :D ~Alex
