Hello there I would like to know what you mean with the “front to back” while your threading the string at the bottom, your hands were in the way so I couldn’t see what you did, I personally own one of these and I am trying to use it, it does work I just need to know what you mean by what you said at 3:00 if maybe you could explain it I would be so grateful ❤❤
@@tksewingmachineandrepair4243 yes thank you 😊 I also found out that my bibbons that my mom got me don’t fit so the slide part can’t go over, so I’m going to have to get metal ones which sucks, but I also have another question, can I still use the sewing machine without using a bibbon? And If not am I able to use the sewing machine safely with not having the cover over the inside bibbon?
@@Moon-Zaiyian-Zai_Lunimo Do you not have a slide plate for the bobbin? If you need bobbins, I have the ones that will work in this machine..... $10 for 6 bobbins. If you need the slide plate, let me know. I might have one of those too. You really need that slide plate on so that what you are sewing wont interfere with functioning of the bobbin case. If you watch that thing run, it turns really fast. It could be dangerous too..
@@tksewingmachineandrepair4243 I do had a slide plate but unfortunately it’s kind of broken, it is extremely difficult to put it back on and it doesn’t sit properly, the little metal plate that makes it slidable is actually bigger that the slot for the plate to go over so the plate has one side that is slightly up, so the plate is okay it’s just the metal piece that makes it slidable is too big, also do you do shipment? I live in North America and I don’t know where you live, if shipment is possible I would probably like to do it as long as it doesn’t take months
@@Moon-Zaiyian-Zai_Lunimo I am in Texas. I forget that people on youtube are all over the world. The best way to get that plate on is to put it on from the back of the plate. The spring should sit in the grooves, then it will slide back towards you. if the piece of metal or the plate are bent, both are easy fixes. New plate or new metal spring.
Do you know if this machine is capable of doing twin needle? I have a singer 237 which does zigzag but cannot do twin needle due to the orientation of the bobbin mechanism. I want twin needle for hemming jersey knits
Are you speaking of the felt on the spool pin? It is made of felt. Sure you can make one. People make them out of a lot of different materials. Happy sewing!!

I have not enough place for a big industrial machine, and even if I would I am not sure I would use it a lot. :) Do you have any recommendation for vintage semi industrial which is good for what I intend to use? :)
Make sure you are using a universal sized needle. And that the flat part is facing the back of the machine . If that does not resolve the issue, the machine is out of time and needs to be serviced

the needle hole is facing towards you....thread from front to back. Does that make sense?

my needle will just not pick up the bobbin thread, how do i fix that??
