Hey Joe, the 2022s didn't change very much. They made solar and wifi extender standard vs optional in 2021. They also added an Auto Transfer Switch which makes using the generator a little easier.
@@collierrv Thanks so much for the information. That is really good to know especially about the Auto Transfer Switch. This RV looks like a great one that checks all the boxes. :)
That's fantastic! Thank you for the video. I've been looking at the FR3 30DS for awhile now and the redesign helps a lot with some of my issues. The new touch screen up front is great. The solar panel is a bonus I wasn't aware of. The Yamaha generator is a big change too. If you don't mind, I have a few questions. Is the generator fuel injected and do you expect it to be more reliable than the Onan? Is the washer/dryer unit vented to the outside? Thanks again for the great video!!
Hi Scott, thank you so much for commenting. Glad you like the new changes. Can you send me an email or text? I have some additional information on the Yamaha generator I will send you. When you/we install the dryer there is a spot to cut out for a exterior vent. So,. yes, it will vent outside. Thanks again! Chris (815) 985-1691, ccollier@collierrv.com
We love this unit but our biggest deal breaker issue is that there is no place to put our necessary trucker GPS on the dash that is visible and accessible to the driver.
There are several variables - location, climate, number of people, etc. These are not designed to be full-timed in but many people use them 3-6 months a year. Thank you for commenting :-)
From what I hear it's still in the 6-7-8 MPG range in larger Class As. I really like the V-8 compared to the V-10 but it hasn't brought the fuel economy gains I hoped it would. Thanks, Chris
we are getting our 2022 model in 11 days!
Great Video, Thank you. Are you seeing any changes/additions to the FR3 30DS from the 2021 to the 2022 model year?

For the seatbelts in the dinnet, do any have clips for car seats/booster seats. And If not what would the solution be ?
Love the layout, hate the King bed.
*Sold on 2/9/21. They are going quick this year! We have more 30DS on order for Spring*
Thanks for the video. I’m going to wait and get this 2021 in two or three years . So I can get a better price . Fabulous layout

Does that model come with solar?
Hey Pat, Yes the new ones will come standard with a 115 watt roof mounted panel.
Headlights are worthless can’t see at night
Where does the washer and dryer vent to?
It vents out of the wall. We/you would cut a hole and install the vent. Thanks, Chris
How would This RV deal if you live in it for a little bit full-time

@@collierrv May I Ask what Small Class A would you recommend for long term ??
@@czaz00 Call me if you can (815) 985-1691. There are soo many variables its hard to give you an answer without knowing your exact use. Thanks, Chris
Disappointed in the amount of overhead cabinets. Basically only over the sofa.
What's the gas mileage like for a V8?
