As a spurs fan i dont think he’s gonna average more blocks than this season. Teams are going to be very wary of him and his block stats will be deflated. Kinda like Gobert, he can’t get a huge amount of blocks because teams are afraid to attack the paint with him inside

I don't see why Charlotte takes another center when they have Mark and Nick. They are good at that position. They need like a Stefon Castle type that can play next to Melo and be an all around guy

Risacher and one of two of either Topic or Castle
I've been warming up to Castle for the Hornets or Sarr if available. If there's not a center who does something especially differently from Mark Williams and Nick Richards, drafting a 5 doesn't make sense.
I’ve watched a lot of mock drafts in the past weeks coming up to the lottery and this one has got to be the worst one. Like the Pistons selecting another center when they’ve already got a defensive anchor in Jalen Duren and two other decent centers in Isaiah Stewart and James Wiseman, or the Hornets selecting a traditional big when they’ve already got FOUR CENTERS on the team. Or the trailblazers selecting a guy that has fallen out of the top 10 simply because he’s the brother of a good nba player. Or the thunder selecting a center like Zach Edey when they’re looking for defense and versatility, none of which Zach has, or the grizzlies selecting a 6’2 guard when they’ve already got too many guards to even give them minutes.
The more I think about it the dumber it gets.

I'm SO SICK of seeing a kid that can't shoot (or create his own shot in the fucking Adriatic league) being mocked to the Spurs. Yes, we need a ball handler, but we also need better perimeter shooting and scoring at the guard position. Drafting a poor mans Ben Simmons with no defensive upside does nothing for the team and would be a waste of a lottery pick, even in this notoriously weak class.
I feel the same way… the Spurs seem to be scouting Risacher the most.

A wildcard, which I wouldn’t be surprised if it happened is the Spurs getting the 1st pick and selecting Sarr to put next to Wemby at the 4. Spurs have a better opportunity at getting a good playmaking PG in next year’s draft than this year.

Detroit definitely doesn't have to draft for talent, especially in this weak draft - they have enough talent, now they have to make sense of it - they desperately need spacing, as well as defence, so their first option should be Risachier, and if not it should be Buzelis - basically a stretch wing. If they don't pick a shooter they are cooked

Dalton to the raptors isn't the move bro lol he def isn't best player available. Not to mention we already have Gradey with a similar player profile. On top of that, we now have shooters in IQ and RJ and even Scottie up until the half of the season, hopefully he solidifies that shot. This draft is shaky so finding a BPA is difficult but I think we need size, defense and versatility to complement our core. Matas fits the bill I think and he arguably is BPA at that spot. Even Castle's defense would be interesting, his shot is fixable but you can't teach size, Matas is 6'10 -6'11. Rob and Sarr are the only true star types I think, and Sheppard is going to be an elite role player. The rest of this draft is a question mark.

Reed Sheppard or Stephon Castle. I want nothing to do with Topic. In comparison Sheppard is miles ahead when it comes to shooting and is already a better defender than Topic. Castle is not as good a passer or passing IQ as Topic, but he can pass and is miles ahead when it comes to defense, speed and athleticism.
