Thanks for keeping it real. I have multiple ratchet sets around the house, but they are seldom where they are supposed to be, and/or the right size socket ain't in the box!!
I have a 125 Kabota Komander and it is PURE JUNK! Its on its 5 season and has been to the shop every season for something. First 4 years were warranty, now its on me with only 180 hours. My Kabota mechanic told me this. " If you buy a gas zero-turn from Kabota it is not made by Kabota. You bought a zero-turn built by MTD or another company. " My seat plywood rotted out and would not depress the safety switch, MY MOWER HAS NEVER BEEN IN THE RAIN,IT IS GARAGE KEPT! I have a 1971 Kabota B6000e that mows better and has never broke down. I have an L3400 that has been perfect. Never again, never again.
I've also got a Kubota Zero-Turn Mower, and something breaks every time I use it - usually the belt, but once I lost a spring. My land is much too rough for it. I'm not strong enough to change the belts, and so it languishes in my garage. It's battery is dead, too. I should sell it, but haven't gotten around to it yet. :)
Yeah if I couldn't use it I'd sell it, but so far it's been a great mower. I broke a spindle once after running over some metal. There was junk in the gas tank that stopped me for a while. Normal stuff that is my fault, but nothing big so far.
Blake Kirby thanks, I was just wandering. I've had some strange things happen too cutting grass! I I ran over a water meter cover that was flush with the ground and it flipped up as the deck was over it and it did quite a lot of damage.
While this is helpful for the "Z" series mowers, it is not a "ZG" series, like the title states. The only things the same between the ZG and Z are that they are both Kubota zero turns and both use gas. The ZG has more in common with the ZD than the Z.
You didn't break it the sun dried the plastic out and it cracked. Mine did same thing. However I've had mine 4 years and it has been a great machine for homeowner use

what is the part # for the tank? i cant find it anywhere!
GREAT VIDEO !!
I'm trying to understand how you broke this considering it is located inside the frame? In a really safe place. Was it a freak accident or something?
I think it happened when I was running up close to a tree. I was kinda surprised that it was broken too.

How do you change out the gas tank
Does your Kabota have a transmission filter
