Can u share a remedy? One of my family member has cough. He had it for a month then it stopped but then again started for a few days very severe and stopped. N now again the same problem. Is it because of cold?
This is what I captured (as it isn't easy to understand what he's saying, so I hope this helps many): :D Part 1: Eriodictyon - wheezy type of a cough and then they expectorate; the wheeze is relieved by expectoration Antimonium arsenicosum - similar wheeze as above, especially for old age with a lot of wheeze and a lot of mucus Corallium rubrum - violent machine gun cough; with so much paroxysm (many, many coughs in a row), the patient can hardly take a breath Drosera - less violent machine gun cough, but happens more upon lying down with a tickling in the larynx Rumex - milder cough with constant tickling in the larynx that precedes or accompanies the cough without a lot of mucus and they cover their necks because they are very sensitive to cold air Hepar sulph - barking cough, they cover themselves because they are very chili Sambucus - barking cough with a lot of sweating/perspiration Spongia - very dry cough, like a saw being driven through a pine board, devoid of any moisture, cough is always better from warm drinks Part 2: Cassia sophera (Senna sophera) - cough always precedes the asthma Sticta - hawking is accompanied with the cough, lots of mucus in the nose with post nasal dripping and they hawk the mucus out Mephitis - cough ending in vomiting for children and face becomes all blue when coughing; they feel better bathing in cold water Coccus Cacti - coughing ending in vomiting thick mucus collected in the throat for adults, tickling in the throat as well Calcarea carbonica - one cough at a time (in one paroxysm) Pulsatilla OR Merc sol - two coughs at a time (in two paroxysms) Cuprum metallicum - three coughs at a time (in three paroxysms) and cough is always better from cold drinks Hyoscyamus - loudest cough in the Materia Medica; can hear it outside the room; generally worse from lying down Capsicum - whenever they cough, they touch the knee, arm . . . basically they have pain in the distant parts.

Please suggest the potency. Some of these prescriptions have failed maybe because of the wrong potency.
