For sure! Definitely use exposure simulation it’s one of the great features of shooting with a mirrorless camera. I was just trying to point out that it’s really easy to lose track of your settings because you’re looking at a live view of your exposure instead of the light meter like you would be in a DSLR. I mentioned switching it off to practice getting in the habit of looking at your meter + settings. This is mainly if your shooting in manual mode. I hope this helps thanks for asking
Great video, it's funny I had the reverse order of events. I got my first camera, a eos m50 in 2019, later upgrading to a Fujifilm X-H1. Now whenever I try and use a dslr I start fumbling around like I've never used a camera because my exposures are all wrong😂. I worry mirrorless makes me less observant in some way
Thanks! Ah that is funny:) and I think you are correct I know I have become less observant using a mirrorless system. Definitely try turning your live view off for a few days. It helps you pay attention;)
2:45 can you explain this section again? Should i use the exposure simulation or not? If you can review this first section it will be great ❤
