After watching the Vampire Diaries and the Originals like twice (both shows from start to finish) it also took me a hella long time to watch Legacies, because I was kinda unsure of it but on a whim I decided just recently to give it a chance and it was worth it. Super funny show, hits you right in the feels many times and to quote Ellijah, 'I would violate everything sacred under the sun' to make you watch it with us.
Went there with my sister in June, it was so awesome! The Vampire Stalkers tour was just so cool, so many fun facts about the cast and filming. Also, the Lockwood house is beautiful, the backyard is just amazing to see and they even built the wedding Arch Steroline got married under! Definitely recommend that tour!

I’ve been hooked since the day it aired!! I was a sophomore in high school and I remember the day it aired and exactly where I was and how excited I was for every week. It killed me so much the wait between season 2 and 3 especially.
You need to watch Legacies, only if to officially finish off the series/universe because it does actually pay off in the end ❤️ if you loved the first 2 shows, you will find small things to love about the new one. No it’s not the same, don’t go into it expecting the same formula. It’s different, but like I said, it pays off in the last season.

Something I loved about the first few seasons was the clothes that they wore, I actually had a lot of those clothes myself because they wanted it to be like a real high schoolers clothes. I loved that.
I've been there only once, a few years ago, despite living about two hours away. I'm going back for my birthday next year, and I can't wait! The first time, I went with friends who never saw the shows, and we didn't stay long. This time, I'm going with my family who has seen them, and we are definitely taking our time. Anyway, I didn't get a hamburger at the Mystic Grill, but I did get the sweet tea fried chicken, and I'm definitely going to get it again.

Another reactor went and said that the tour guide said that it's one of the few towns in the South that wasn't burned during the Civil War and still has all its old buildings, so it's ideal as a film/TV set. And...it's too funny that you still hate Tyler after all this time, 18 months or more since you watched that first episode! Just wondering if you have watched the actor, Michael Trevino , in anything else? Enjoy the Brother's Bond! :-)
Omg I’m so happy you went! I went there with my mom and sister and there are so many filmed in that area! We went through a self guided tour of all the stranger things spots, marvel has some stuff there, and we sat in our car outside the gate of the Salvatore house and saw all the houses (Elena, Caroline, Bonnie and Tyler) by walking, also we visited “New Orleans” in Georgia, the little are where they filmed the originals. We couldn’t go inside any of the houses because we didn’t get the tour. That trip was the best! I hope you go again and see all these spots, I’m definitely going back! Online there are so many self guided tour and addresses to visit for so many tv shows and movies that we’re filmed in Georgia.
Im so jelaous! Sucks that I live in Norway. I so badly want to visit that town one day! I have bought some props/souvenirs online though. The daylight rings and some of the necklaces. Katherine's mask from the masquerade dance episode, Bonnies necklace from the 1st season etc. :D
I would love to go but I live in Balkans and I honestly don't think I'll ever make it to America. When Legacies ended I felt like I lost a friend. I watched these shows for over 10 years. It's really sad that it's over and I definitely think you should watch Legacies. It's not as good as TVD and TO but it's still good

Next time you go visit make sure u visit the Covington Welcome center … they have more of the Big props there !!

I promise legacies isn’t as bad as people make it out to be, it’s just different to the first two shows!! it’s a lot more lighthearted and fun and the last season has a darker tone which is more similar to tvd and to and overall it’s a great show with fun and likeable characters, i really hope you get to watch it one day to finish of the tvd universe
